The atmosphere is quaint but unfortunately the service is not good. My table had two different servers and both of them kept forgetting about us. They also mixed the wines in the same glass for the flights which is really weird. The other tables who got flights got three separate glasses for the wines so why didn’t they do that for us? My table also requested a bottle of wine for the table to share and we never got that. This was not a great experience for my friend’s bachelorette party.

Very nice. The sparkling ice wine is to die for.

Did a wine tasting, with kettle chips and dip, and chocolate bark was good.

We ordered pizza with our flights. Unfortunately the pizza tasted like a frozen one . All the cheese wasn't even melted . Wished it was a little crispy .wine was ok. But I ended up with a beer

I'd love to write a positive review, raving about the lovely atmosphere of my new neighborhood's winebar and their excellent selection of local wines. Unfortunately, this won't be that review. After driving by daily for a few months, the gf and I turned in on a late may saturday afternoon whim for a snack and splash. When we got inside, server #1 directed us to menus and established that we were free to go on the deck but we wouldn't be able to have wine flights outside. There were two parties -- one at a high-top and a couple at the bar. Thinking we might have flights, we sat on the couches because they're comfy and to maximize distance between parties. After about 3 minutes, we knew what we wanted. The other server was engaged with a couple sitting at the bar...loudly. So we waited, the gf and i, and tried to chat over the employee's loud nonstop banter that dominated the entire hard-surface tasting room. After about 10 minutes of hearing the server's life story about where she grew up, how she didn't know anything about wine before, how she loves wisconsin, etc, we were actively agitated and wanted to order wine and maybe a snack. So we walked up to the bar to order wine thinking one or the other of the servers would notice us. Server #1 seemed actively busy... bringing 3top flights and disappearing to the kitchen, probably for food prep. So we stood at the side of the bar, the same one where server #2 continued (without pause, distraction, or a hint of self-consciousness) to talk to the patrons about wisconsin. We sat at bar stools without acknowledgement or even a glance from server #2 5 feet away (but whose mind seemed a million miles from serving wine to new additions at the bar). Server 1 still busy. After about 5 minutes of sitting there, and really really wanting to salvage our impromptu pre-dinner date but ultimately left feeling invisible and defeated. (But at least we got away from the nonstop talking... i hope the couple on the receiving end of the one-sided conversation with the transmit-only server enjoyed their drinks).I still drive by twice daily and remain curious about their wine, but i'm not going to bother trying it at this tasting room again.

What a cute little winery! Love this addition to the Whitney Way neighborhood. I went with one of my friends we both got a wine flight (I got white she go red). Both of us liked the wines and were able to find one that we wanted to order a glass of. We also got some food, perfect for pairing with our wine. This place is in a very convenient location in Madison, if you like wine give it a try!

We enjoyed our visit on a Saturday afternoon. The wine was delicious and the atmosphere was optimal for a social gathering. It took us a while to get here after moving to Madison, but we’ll be back!

This place is fantastic! I'd been here once years ago for an organized tasting and been a fan, but then it kind of fell off my radar. The tasting room is set off the road in a very unassuming intersection of the beltline, vitense, etc. Don't let its modest exterior fool you -- Cambridge Winery rocks! The inside is beautiful, and they do have an outdoor patio that looks wonderful (it was snowing when I went, so...). There was a good selection of wine for me and two girlfriends who have very different tastes in wine. We went on a Wednesday for a special where you get two pizzas and a bottle of wine for only $29! As long as this deal stands, I'll be coming by frequently. The pizzas are not super large, maybe a little bigger than personal size, but they were very good. We got a margherita and spinach/artichoke. Service was great, and I loved that you could order wines by the glass OR bottle OR do a tasting. Definitely recommend!

While in Madison, I visited the Cambridge Winery Tasting Room. Intimate, quiet, and cozy atmosphere with friendly staff full of wine knowledge. The tasting was a great selection of wines grown from local and non-local grape varieties. My favorites were the 2016 Petite Pearl and the 2014 Syrah.
