We just tried this spot for some authentic Mexican food, and loved it! The waitstaff were all very kind, attentive, and personable. The food was excellent. The salsas were fresh and delicious. As vegetarians we were delighted at all of the meat-free options. Their Chile Rellenos were so good (maybe especially in taco form!) Their margaritas were flavorful and fresh tasting. The street corn is an excellent appetizer. I was also so pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the bill was at the end of the night! Came here with a small group recently, and we all enjoyed our time. Food is was flavorful and tasted fresh, our server was very nice, prices were reasonable, and our food came out quickly despite the place being quite busy at the time. Absolutely love this restaurant. Been 4 times, and tried something new each time (except street corn, we always get the street corn). It’s not your common Mexican, much more authentic. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, the service and friendliness of the staff is also outstanding. Already one of my go-to places!Kid-friendliness: They understand the value of friendly service, and they try hard to do it well. Bravo.
Three visits, tried different dishes and appetizers each time, always excellent. Incredibly friendly service. Particular favorites include the street corn and the ceviche apps, enchiladas, anything with the carnitas and torta morolean , Oh yeah, a smoky salsa with the chips is great. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants on the near west side.

The service and environment were nice but the food was disappointing. The portions were small and the amount of filling in my enchiladas was stingy, also they were served under a pile of raw vegetables. The tortilla had a weird and greasy flavor. Seemed lazy; tastier Mexican food for a better price can be found in plenty of other locations.
