Would definitely come back here, one of the best options for latin food in Madison Queso Frito (8/10): wow so crunchy and savory, loved this appetizer, although it was a bit heavy, would've like a sour salsa-like sauce to dip these in but the pico that did come with it helped Bistec Encebollado (7/10): pretty solid if you like steak, but it could use a tad more seasoning, nothing crazy Pabellon (10/10): SO GOOD this was definitely the star of the meal, everything was seasoned phenomenally, really enjoyed the plantains“
“The Mango Man is the coolest! The vegan burrito was excellent. It's hard to find good vegan options, so usually I will just settle for whatever, but the vegan burrito was amazing. All the ingredients were super tasty, especially the fried plantains and Thony's special sauces. The tortilla smelled so good and it tasted great. As I was waiting for my food, a woman in line told me that Thony makes the tortillas from scratch. Now that's a labor of love! The food was so good that I came back the next day to get another burrito. I also got a mango mojito. It was really refreshing and had some spices in it that gave it a depth of flavor. Thony is super friendly and gives off the best vibes. If you see the Cafe Costa Rica food cart, do yourself a favor and talk to Thony and buy some of his delicious food.“
