Went in there for a quick bite, ordered a steak sandwich with all the works and fries. It took about 10-15 minutes and I was the only one in the restaurant. The place has a real cozy atmosphere feel to it with arcade games at the back and vibrant decorations that makes the place feel like a retro diner sorta. When the food came out it was in a basket (guess I forgot to order to-go) and the fries were fresh out the oil. Generous portion of fries and the sandwich was thick with meat. I'm not playing, its a pretty big sandwich! Food could be enough for 2 if you're not a big eater. Yummy lunch would definitely come here to try more items. Paid a decent amount, typical for these types of restaurants for a meal to be at least $12-16; no bev too.

My wife and I were shopping around Madison and decided we wanted carry out sandwiches for lunch. We called our order and were advised it would be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived about 10 minutes later and were served quickly. Person who served us was friendly and they appeared busy. Small areas for inside and outside seating, so mainly carry out. We ordered a spicy chicken panini and an Italian panini which we shared. Both were large and delicious and came with whole dill pickles. Glad we didn't go with a chain store. Will definitely be back.

Their food is great, even the takeout was hot. Not just warm. Actually hot. But the portions are very small for the price. Update: food made me violently sick.

I wanted to love it here, as a local sandwich and soup place is definitely a want/need, but our sandwiches were subpar. My wrap was so mushy that I couldn’t eat it.

Not good. Would not recommend. Food was inedible. Burned bread. Slimy turkey. Stale bacon. Not a restaurant. I have no idea why it has so many good reviews.

We had the French dip and gyros sandwiches, which were both quite good. A nice lunch. The restaurant interior is less funky than dumpy. We suggest a paint job, new furniture and clean up the terrazzo floor. The food is more important though. Very good!

This is the real deal sandwich place. Wide menu of choices from Ruebens to Philly cheese and paninis. Fresh made and delicious. Great fries as well. Quick and friendly service. Simple and straight forward, no gimmicks.

I was looking to order some food for care team of 25 people. I called around 10:15 am for 12 pm delivery. John helped to come up with a solution and gave me a quote. We both agreed the price and mixture of sandwiches, wraps, cookies and drinks. Even 15 mins delay the kept me informed. My care team was really happy with variety. Thanks to John and team.
