Had a great experience here when my wife and I took off work right before Christmas. Was not super busy when we got there at about 8 am that Friday but it slowly picked up while we were there. Food tasted really good. Server was very friendly and gave the perfect level of service by talking us through the menu and waiting on us and checking on us when needed. Elie’s is my favorite restaurant. Great food, great service and the atmosphere is cute. The soup is amazing. I love the Rubin and fries are great. My nephew had a cheeseburger and fries.

Best old school diner in the Madison area. I've eaten here (usually with my family) MANY times. Food is consistently good. Service is friendly and welcoming. Prices are affordable. What's not to love?! We usually are here for breakfast, but if you're getting lunch, try their fries!
