Great food and wine selection. Honestly, go for the Basque cake alone. My first time here (right after the restaurant opened) I was not so impressed, but since then they have stepped everything up. Been a few times since and always had a great time.

We've been here several times now and every experience has been excellent. Back when Estrellón was still open, we went to celebrate my husband's birthday and shared the paella (a staple for us!) as well as a few appetizers. I had the fish fry which was good but wouldn't necessarily order again. We received a cocktail shrimp appetizer on the house which was delightful! The shrimp was deliciously sweet, perfectly paired with acidity of fresh tomatoes and a hint of horseradish oil. My only regret is not remembering the name of the dish as it's no longer on the menu. The Barcelona G&T was a wonderfully memorable twist on the original. When the restaurant is open again and COVID is behind us, I'd highly recommend sitting by the kitchen. It's so fun to watch how they meticulously (and so expeditiously!) put together each plate.

The food was amazing!! Every staff member was taking appropriate measures for covid, felt totally safe while i was there. Service seemed a bit slow, but its possible they are running with lighter staff because of the lower numbers of customers. GET THE CAKE!

My husband and I have always loved going to Estrellón and decided to order carry out for our anniversary. They brought our order to our car, which we really appreciated. There are multiple spots out front specifically for pick up - so don't fret on parking. As for the meal, we were incredibly impressed - all the dishes came in separate, labeled containers to make it supremely simple to put everything together. They also separated out pieces of the dish that would have otherwise gotten soggy or had issues with transport. We were absolutely thrilled. The paella was gorgeous (in its takeout bin no less!) and just as delicious as we remembered. The gambas al ajillo were totally delicious. Of course, we topped it off with a slice of basque cake. We would wholeheartedly recommend Estrellón - their food is as incredible as always. Their curbside game is on point and one of the best and most thoughtful in town.
Estrellon is one of the nicest restaurants in Madison. The chef's special is SO worth it. The Jamón Ibérico Montaditos is to die for. The basque cake is also a star. Dinner at Estrellon is an experience.

As much as I enjoyed having dinner in this restaurant before, the delivery experience was awful - the paella wasn't eatable at all - it was not fresh (in fact, in tasted like it was made couple of days before), with some dry sausage inside and with mayo, mayo, mayo and then mayo on top. Besides of that the food was dead cold - not 15-20 min cold but 2 hours+ cold. We had to throw it away. I'm sorry but if you want people to support local business, you have to offer some quality for that. It was our worst food delivery experience in Madison. I obviously don't recommend to order food delivery from here.

Ordered COVID-19 era curbside pickup dinner yesterday. There was a technical problem linking EatStreet order to the restaurant, but they went over and above what was expected to compensate, even after I said nothing needed. More importantly, the food was amazing - delicious, perfectly cooked, and well-presented. Highly recommended, including if you need a little tasty help to navigate through this surreal crisis.

Really beautiful Spanish restaurant in the middle of Madison. My girlfriend and I were really tempted to order the tasting menu, but alas we decided to pick and choose a la carte. We ordered a variety of items, including the Hand-pulled Mozzarella, Huevos al Lucio, Crispy Pork Belly, and Basque Cake. We loved the mozzarella and Huevos al Lucio. The mozzarella had a perfect sweet, salty, savory bite with all the ingredients combined together (charred apple, mozzarella, Jamon Iberico). The Huevos Al Lucio might've been our favorite dish. The fries were dangerously good, and they soaked up the egg yolk excellently. We weren't as much of a fan of the Pork Belly. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, with the Thai chili-cranberry sauce being pretty overwhelming. The pork belly was cooked nicely, but it's difficult to remember anything else other than the sweetness of the dish. The Basque cake was a great way to finish the meal. It's definitely a bit heavy, but it's so so good. The sour cream frozen custard sounds strange, but compliments the cake excellently. The meal ended up being surprisingly affordable for us, even though we left feeling very stuffed. The dinner was also well-paced and service was excellent. I'd highly recommend Estrellon!

Tried this place for date night and was quite satisfied. We ordered the patatas bravas, both ham and cheese croquettes, shrimp, another patatas dish and the meatballs. All the food was absolutely delicious! The patatas bravas had a little bit of a kick but were well-balanced with the sauce. The shrimp and meatballs were both very well-cooked and seasoned. I would get any of these dishes again for sure! The wait staff was very knowledgable about the food and engaging to speak with. The wait for our check was a but lengthy but I would definitely come again and recommend this to any fan of Tapas in the Madison area!
