Good, standard fare at this authentic "old time diner."The charm is obvious, as it's presence in the midst of a old eastside Madison neighborhood takes you back to the days when such neighborhood diners were common.Once inside, one is transported back in time as it's small, has a counter with stools, a chalkboard with the day's specials, a few tables and a friendly waitress and owner. The food is great and speedy. The owner friendly & congenial. Prices are average for a small, Madison diner.Go. It's worth it.

Came before close and they were super nice about it! It was my first time, I ordered huevos rancheros, two French toast, and a bowlOf chili. Food was delicious and chili was a great treat Togo. Prices were very well for area and the ambience was of 50’s. I really liked this small diner. 5

Can't really give a review about the food. I sat down at a table. The waitress gave me a menu & a place setting. I waited 10-15 minutes. She never came back, so I left. There were only 2 other customers when I left. Very pour service.

The food is mediocre at best, particularly the pancakes are super dry and bland even with fruit. However the price to portion ratio is pretty great; absolutely massive portions.

Fantastic people, food is delicious and makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is complete with great, friendly regulars stopping in and having fun conversations! Their Spanakotiropita Omelet was both fun to pronounce, and probably the most delicious omelet I've ever had! Definitely try this place out! :)

Great execution of the steak fries, they are crispy and hot to the touch. On the other hand, the double 1/2 pound cheeseburger was so gross, the pancakes were same quality as dare-ree-land, and the skillet was too dog gone salty for anyone with taste buds. Oh and the coffee was so bad it not only tasted stale but was warm at best. I would return to order the steak fries and that’s it. There is more, like the speed of the service, but I will stop here, since they looked way understaffed and two employees can only do so much.

Will definitely be back. Food was great, big portions, friendly service, nice coffee, multiple hot sauce options. We got skillets and cinnamon rolls. Looking forward to trying other menu items as well.

I’ve eaten here many times, usually ordering the Willabys omelet or the blueberry pancake, sometimes just the eggs, bacon and home fries. It’s a good place. It’s not another wannabe chi chi Madison restaurant. It simply delivers a solid old school breakfast. It’s tasty and most importantly more affordable than any other breakfast in Madison. I’ll always support Kris and crew.
