I wanted to like this place more than I actually ended up liking it. On entry, you can see that the place is well decorated and has a generally great atmosphere (soft lighting, background music, etc.). We had a small wait before a table was available, so we sat at the bar. In the whole time we were at the bar, there was no bartender; they appeared to be off doing other things. We were eventually seated in a lovely little alcove, but it took nearly 10 minutes for anyone to drop off water and even longer for anyone to greet us and ask about ordering drinks/appetizers. It felt like the front of the restaurant was understaffed. We eventually ordered, and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. My group ordered a wide sampling of things from the menu. Everything we ordered looked great from a presentation standpoint. While eating, we all came to the conclusion that everything was good, but nothing made us "wow" or "yum" or express anything other than just "this is fine." When factoring in price, we were generally disappointed for a few things (e.g. four single-bite soup dumplings for $13 is a bit ridiculous). Overall, I'm not disappointed that I tried this place, but I don't imagine I will come back unless I have a friend who really wants to try it.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options are available, but not options in every category of food (e.g., I don't think they had vegetarian soup dumplings)Parking: There is street parking in the neighborhood. It can be difficult to find parking in that neighborhood; especially during a dinner rushKid-friendliness: I would not bring kids here.Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I can tell, this place seems to be fairly accessible. I did not check the bathrooms.

The are not good at all about people with allergies. We talked about peanut allergies extensively and they still brought out the dish with sesame seeds! Luckily we could see them or we would have been in the ER. Cool decor and good food for but having to pay for their mistakes and not being able to eat together was unacceptable.

The inside of the restaurant was nice. We sat at the bar because they had a puzzle night event there. The staff were friendly. I liked the spring rolls I had and the scallion pancake was good. However, I did not prefer the fish balls or the scallop shumai. The texture of the fish balls were not what I was expecting since they were described as crispy. I would maybe go back and try something different but it's not high on the list for a return.

The food is very nice!! But don't go there, not ever on Saturday early evening, or early Friday evening. My favorite times!! I am bad at remembering to make reservations!??

Our first time at Feast, can’t believe we had not been here yet, a hidden gem. The food was outstanding and our server Gabe was very kind and knowledgeable, we will definitely be back!

I took my grandson for dinner last night and it was fabulous. We did the restaurant week offer and it was so good. The crab ragoon was the best I ever had, the soup dumplings were amazing and the dessert buns at the end with egg custard filling were so good. Will definitely be going back and enjoy other things on the menu also.Kid-friendliness: My grandson loved the décor and had to walk around and look at all the cool things they had on display and also absolutely loved the food.

Delicious homemade soup dumplings (the only homemade ones we've found in Madison)! We love the pork and black truffle. We also love the wontons in Szechuan sauce - absolutely delicious with big pieces of shrimp. Pan fried dumplings and shrimp siu mai are delicious as well. It's hard to decide what to order when eating here as we love many of the dishes!

The best place to get some amazing Asian dumplings and delicious buns! If you are getting the dumplings - get them pan fried always! We’ve been here many times and have ordered different items and never been disappointed. You can simply try what your use to having but if you want to try something new - go for it - you won’t be disappointed!

I took my girlfriend (who LOVES dumplings of all kinds) here for a date. It was pleasantly busy for a Friday night but not horribly packed. It was yummy and the service was friendly. The seasonal teas were excellent and I ended up ordering too. In a town with so much good food, this place still manages to stand out!

Went with a large group and the service was excellent. Ordered multiple items and everything was delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back the next time I'm in Madison.

Friend shared that the food was worth the drive from Milwaukee, and she was right!
