The food price and portions were excellent. The missing star is for the wait time for a table and bathrooms. A single toilet each, male and female. This place gets super busy. We got there before the rush and still waited 30mins for a table. However, during the rush, it's probably an hour wait.

I visited Ha Long Bay for the Pho. I have to share with readers that I was a little disappointed. My table surface was not clean or prepped. My bowls for the Pho were dirty. I approached a waitress, and she was shocked. A waiter then did his best to rectify the situation twice! The rice was dry or a day old. You can ask the staff to SPLIT a big bowl of Pho for two, however!

Arrived for dinner on Monday evening, it was busy but I was seated quickly. I had a glass of red wine and ginger tea and split the Pad Peg red curry with chicken and drunken noodles with beef with a friend. I was impressed with the dimensions of spices and flavors with both dishes. Service was excellent.

So, I'm a Madison tourist who lives in Chicago and I'd heard about this place from a couple of websites ("Best Restaurants in Madison" lists, "Things to do in Madison" videos)--and it's completely justified! Delicious and amazing! Probably the best Tom Kha I've ever had and my server was so sweet and helpful--can't wait to go back!

FINAL EDIT: I love this place. Four people can each eat an entree and 2 apps and it’s about $80. And you always leave with leftovers! PHENOMENAL!!This restaurant gets so much hype but it’s not that great. Went on Saturday and had to wait 75+ minutes! Got seated and then our apps came really fast but had to wait 30+ minutes for our entrées. Not superb service. Overly crowded place too, no room for private talks. The sesame chicken was just like General Tso’s chicken at a generic place, so not great. The pho is always good though!! And the crab Rangoon and curry puffs are good too.Edit: this place has GREAT food if you know what to order— always get Pad Thai and pho ph7, and the veggie curry app!! 4 stars because the wait is too damn long, especially on weekends (but basically there’s always a wait)!

Have been coming here my whole life, and I love the food. Never had a bad experience, until this morning. Just wanted to let everyone know that I have extreme food poisoning that lasted all day from their food. I am still not over this sickness and it’s 9 pm. I would be weary for a few days until they get rid of that batch of bad chicken or rice.
