The kosharie house special is as bad as it looks. I went in with an open mind but fried onions on spaghetti is not a combo. Baklava is not quality. Will try other dishes.

Absolutely delicious food! I recommend the kosharie and the chicken shawarma plate. Also their tiramisu is good too! It’s quick, healthy, tasty and relatively cheap - what more could you ask!? The owner is super nice too!Vegetarian options: Falafel and kosharie. Not tons of veggie options but some very solid ones!!
Kosharie makes the best falafel sandwich in Madison. The falafel is crispy, the pita is soft and fresh, and the sauce is tasty.

We had an amazing spread of food, all of it delicious. Lovely man took our orders and made the food. Will be craving this! Definitely recommend the chicken shawarma, hummus, pita, and kosharie!Dietary restrictions: No peanuts, seems easy to make GF too
Egyptian food is generally rare. So I was excited to go to this place. Egyptian Kosharie was what I was after. It is a vagetarian dish with rice, noodles, pasta sauce and topped with fried onion. It was good. There was no choice to add meat to this dish. Lamb, chicken and beef kabob was my other item. Meat could have been more tender. But rice was very flavorful. The pita bread on the side was also flavorful. It didn't reheat well though. The place is small with may be 4 tables. Mostly I saw people taking out food.

This place is the best!!!!! They have everything and the owner is so nice. Love that they're open late. I've moved away from madison and I miss going there honestly.

It's a deli and restaurant. I had kosharie (the same menu name as the shop), and it was highlighted in the menu. It's a vegetarian dish. It has noodles, pasta, beans and chick peas. I did not find the taste that great. Also, it would have been nice if seller were more cheerful, which is common in other shops.

Ordered the chicken shwarma, and found to my horror that the chicken was undercooked- some pieces practically looked raw inside. And these are thin pieces of chicken too. Ate most of my shwarma by the time I realized. Would have been decent if the food had been cooked properly.
This is by far the best gyro in Madison. I want to try other things on the menu but I haven’t yet because I dream about the gyro in my sleep.

A friend and I stumbled onto this little restaurant last weekend, and while on the surface it is very unassuming, the food was outstanding! The grilled vegetable wrap was absolutely delicious, full of vegetables cooked perfectly with delicious spices and sauce. The chicken kebab dish was huge, and the grilled chicken was excellent. Both came with fresh salad. Our server – and I assume he was the owner - was super friendly and attentive. I would absolutely recommend this little gem!

I would go here again! I had the kofta kabob and chicken shawarma plate (KOFTA HATEE). I thought it was a good amount of food for the price and liked the variety of options.
