Went for easter brunch-all the lunch entrees were stunning, and the prime rib was super moist and flavorful. Will have to come back for dinner!

Wonderful, on-the-water experience. The walleye filet was cooked to perfection. Mushroom app was delicious. The staff were warm and accommodating. The key lime pie was good, which is saying a lot.

Very disappointed with this first time experience. Have been told for years that this was a great place to eat. Finally went, but the meal was mediocre at best. The view was good. The restaurant was worn and dated - lost count of the carpet patterns that seemed dirty. I always try to give restaurants a second chance, but not this time.

Overall a good experience. Prices didn't match the food in our opinion. There was an anniversary special never mentioned to us so we paid twice the cost. Server was good and attentive. Can give it a try.

Everything was fantastic! Our experience from start to finish with the host and server exceeded expectations. The food was delicious. The only food item we thought could be better was the cheese curds. I'd love to see these beer battered vs. breaded. With that being said, it was not a deal breaker. We will definitely be back!!

Mariner's restaurant is still one of the classiest restaurants in the Madison area. The food is always consistently top notch. Despite how hard it is to find employees, Mariner's always has hard working and friendly staff. If you are entertaining a first date, or just want to feel like you belong, run don't walk to Mariner's.

Two guests ordered shrimp. The shrimp were overcooked and the green grees were as tough as tree bark. Couldn't cut them without a steak knife. The beef tenderloin resembled ground chuck. We told the waitress but , she was un-sympathetic and offred no recourse. Will not return to this restaurant. My salmon florentine was great. Baked potato was only luke warm. Needed more heat. Very expensive for the quality of food that was served.

My husband and I both had the walleye. Adult kids had Salmon and Steak. All were delicious. The server was fantastic and esp to our 4 year old granddaughter. Very attentive. Cocktails good too.

Charming setting, attentive waitstaff, lovely owner, and delicious food. This was a great stop from Chicago on route to WI skiing! The steaks were flavorful, the salmon on cedar plank perfectly cooked, salads fresh, sauteed mushrooms yummy...just what we hoped for in a supper club.

Shrimp were out of this world. The clam chowder soup was excellent. However the Cajun walleye was just so so. Over all I would definitely go back! On water and has excellent Ambience.

We visited Mariners Inn on Valentines Day. Our server Michael was an absolute delight. He was very attentive and quick with drinks and updates on our food. We loved the old school vibe of the place and the family owned atmosphere. I ordered the special tenderloin steak it was a little sad. It was supposed to have a whiskey sauce and horseradish cream but there was no sauce or whiskey flavor and the tiniest dollop of the cream. Since this dish has an upcharge of $5.00, I was expecting a bit more. I ordered my steak medium rare and my husband ordered his medium and they were cooked the same. Too rare for his taste. The hashbrowns were delicious. but the baked potato was super boring. I mean, yeah, it a baked potato but when you are dinning out at a $$$ restaurant, you just expect to be wowed a bit. It was fun and the drinks were really great. I am sure we will be back for cocktails but probably not for dinner again.
