I will start with the good: the karaage with curry. Chicken was cooked well and the curry was good. However, the ramen was terrible. Noodles tasted pre-packaged, the broth was watery and the egg was barely marinated and yolk was over cooked. It was a very sad "ramen".

Used to eat here a bunch, but the quality just keeps declining. Meat was dry, eggs were overcooked, and broth was flavorless. Big bummer

Horrible service. Ordered online and had to wait over 40 minutes after the pickup time. Completely ignored me and took care of all the Doordash drivers first. They take on way more orders than they can handle and neglect all of them. Haven't had this bad of a service experience in Madison ever.

Stopped in for dinner here on a Saturday evening. Very few customers so our orders were taken pretty quickly and the soup came within 10 mins.I got the standard Tonkotsu Ramen so I could compare it with other restaurants. Also because I like Tonkotsu a lot. The broth tasted a little lighter than I preferred but overall it was a great Tonkotsu Ramen. Noodle was just perfect consistency, not too soft or too hard. Perfect for slurping. It only came with half a boiled egg which was disappointing to me. I really like the pork but I only got two slices. I might have been extra hungry that’s why I am highly the content of the soup. After we ate, we went to the front to pay and found out if you pay cash, you get 10% discount. Too bad I didn’t have enough cash on me.I would definitely come back when I’m in the area and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to satisfy their craving for ramen in Madison.

If you want to dine at a restaurant that YELLS and NEGATIVELY talks about/at their customers, this is the place to be. My partner and I have been here previous times and had good experiences. However, we ordered the karage curry and it was too spicy for my partner so we asked NICELY to our server if there was something he could do. Our server then went to the kitchen and asked the cook and came back and said it was fine and they would make us another one. I don't know if there is miscommunication with the cooks/server but our server said "Since there's nothing we can do with your dish in front of you, did you want a to go box?" We said sure because why would anyone want to WASTE food? We were not looking for FREE food. We just wanted to get it changed to something that my partner would be able to eat. After the server came back with our to go box, we heard the cooks making rude comments "why are they packing it if they don't like it?" Then, the younger cook (I'm assuming the son) comes to our table and angrily yells at us saying "If you guys are packing the food, we can't make you another one. You are not allowed to take it home." Then we told him that we were OFFERED by our SERVER for a box. The cook did not listen to anything that we said and just walked away. Never have I ever been disrespected on restaurant floor. We understood that IF were going to be charged for a dish replacement, it would not be a big deal. My partner only had 2 bites and could not finish it. Hence, asking for a replacement. If there is as a possibility of a charge, then the server should have informed us that there was going to be a fee and not OFFER the to go box. In the end, they brought our the dish replacement and we had lost our appetite. Our server was super nice and helpful and I hope that he will find another job somewhere else. He was the only person working the floor and even apologized on behalf of the cooks. Please avoid this establishment at all cost. You're better off eating instant ramen than being disrespected at this so called "restaurant."

This is hands down the best ramen in Madison. Every time we are in town we try to make it here even if it is to get some to go. Even as left overs it's amazing

No fish cake, very skimpy on the veggies and the spice was very mild. Sad. I used to love this place.

I biped in this afternoon hoping to try their takoyaki. Unfortunately, they were already sold out, so get in early if you're on a quest for fried octopus! I opted for the curry rice, which was delicious! Definitely should have gone for the beef curry to make up for missing the takoyaki. Also, you get a discount for paying in cash.

Great ramen, got the tonkotsu. Ordered takeout and my only thing was that the noodles all were super stuck together so it was a little difficult to eat. It was the perfect meal for a cold night!

Food is good……. But today the cashier started being rude to a driver who asked how long will the order be?. “It will be ready when it’s ready!”

This is a small cozy place. Love the decor. The service was friendly. I had the spicy pork ramen and deep fried gyoza for appetizer.

My spicy haketa tonkotsu ramen was absolutely delicious but my friend got hella food poisoning after we ate here. The only thing she ate that I didn't was some extra chili oil/paste that she got on the side. Would absolutely go back but now I'm scared. Be advised.

The ramen here is pretty good and very well priced. Ingredients taste fresh enough and the service is very quick.

I've been to this little ramen shop a couple times now and each time it delivers what you're looking for: a bowl of ramen. It isn't mind-boggling but it does the job! The store itself is decorated uniquely and the staff working there are all very nice. Two of my friends got the shio butter bean sprouts ramen, which was a limited time offer that they had. It was good but they said that the chashu didn't taste like chashu. My other friend and I ordered the chicken karaage curry. I wish I could add some spice to this. The takoyaki were good as well! Not sure how they compare to the real thing but pretty good for Madison standards in my opinion. Overall, a decent spot if you're just craving for a bowl of ramen.
