Shopping at this location is always something I enjoy because it's two stories of books! I will say engagement wise this location has had by far the most helpful staff. I had at least three different employees ask if I needed help and one checked in on me again to make sure I was doing okay and gave recommendations as well based on what I was looking at.

I would give this place a five star review. The only reason I'm giving it a one star review is because of one specific manager (seems newish) there. She's a younger gal and is so incredibly rude and condescending to the customers. She honestly should not be working at a book store and would be better suited to work in a women's or men's prison. I pray she gets fired soon because no one is treated with respect by this certain young manager at the Northgate Barnes and Noble.

I went there tonight and ordered a mocha .I don't think they added any milk ;I think they used just hot water(with espresso and cocoa) I'm pretty sure most times I've ordered a mocha before they've always put milk in it and even asked if I wanted whole milk, 2% ,or some dairy alternative like oat milk or soy milk.I have a feeling they've hired some new people cuz usually my drinks are made really well there.Very disappointed tonight.

This Barnes and noble is coolest one in area because it has two floors accessed by escalator or elevator. The cafe which is on first floor is a great place to get coffee and snack and read or study, or take your drink upstairs to a table and read or study. Thanks Barnes & Noble Northgate Seattle!

Exceptional customer service. Andrew, the store manager and their team is amazing staff went above and behind in helping me pick out some titles that were outside of my genre. I don't recall the name of all of the associates but please commend all of them and also the children's associate upstairs. I highly recommend this location as each staff is extremely knowledgeable. Please pass this review to corporate on a job well done.

I order the same thing everyday at the cafe, and it's always just the way I like it until the skinny black girl with short hair put water in my sh!t and the Mexicana blamed me for it saying "you didn't tell her how you wanted it". I said "Iced caramel macchiato". There's a freaking poster ffs. So clearly her rebuttal isn't true. It was last weekend, and I wasn't going to say anything, but it was just wrong all around the board, then they tried to gaslight me. So yes I have to make this known. All she had to do was apologize. Other than that the place is great, books, and events galore. Most I've seen ever in the brand in all my fifteen years of being a customer.

If you are willing to pay $8.10 for a 4-shot double latte, then this is the place for you. I am happy that people read books more than they play video games. As an author myself of seven books, it is somewhat disheartening. My heart goes out to all the devoted readers of non-fiction these days, especially, "Highliner--the Nature, Science and Philosophy of Automobile Driving," in additon to, "The Perfect God, "The 44," and "Agape--Ways of the Eternal Champion", followed soon by "Mini-handbook for the Spiritual Warrior" and "Handbook for the Spiritual Warrior" by Swan Starling, my pseudonym.

The girl that wears the blue Hoodie eith dark hair and the shorter one that has glasses that can't make anyrhing at all and in the process she doesnt pay attention to what shes doing snd juat talks and laughs. Then when it's wrong she smirks with her coworkers. I already snapped on her once. I'll never come back. Get rid of the kids and get real genuine people.

One of my favorite book stores. These guys are huge and carry a variety of books, stationery, games, toys, gifts, CDs and many more. Everything in the store is neatly organized, the staff is super helpful. There is a cafe inside. There is some seating inside the store as well. I like that they keep changing some of their book displays to reflect the current trends. I have discovered many new books going inside the store. They often have some clearance section where you get somePretty good deals. Highly recommend this bookstore!

Love spending a bit of time in a brick and mortar store. This store combined with an in house Starbucks kept me entertained for several hours on a Sunday afternoon. I even bought a couple of books. Stop in ad keep the book stores open.
