They brew each cup of tea and then ice it so it takes a while but it's worth it. If you order for-here, they serve it in an iced mug. There is plenty of comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and board games.

This place is amazing! Some of the best boba I’ve had in a while. I got strawberry red tea with mango jellies, and there weren’t too few mango jellies and the tea was delicious, tasted like red tea (of course) with linings of strawberry, if that makes sense. The jellies were delicious and despite being rectangle shaped, didn’t cause any issues with the straw. A week after I came back to try their mango green tea, and I usually don’t order a lot of mango flavored things (normally because artificial flavoring for mango tastes like melon), and it tastes just like mango! I probably shouldn’t be as excited as I am right now but artificial mango broke my trust in mango flavored snacks and drinks. For those of you complaining about long wait and the place being filled with “kids”, that’s because East High School is a good 13 minute walk away. I would say 12:00 - 1:00pm is the busiest it gets on weekdays, since I’m assuming that’s when their lunch is? The kids are surprisingly not as disturbing as you would think, though. I spent about $6 per drink so the prices aren’t bad! Can’t wait to come again ❤️

The service is lovely, and the atmosphere is really peaceful and nice to be in. But the bubble tea isn’t great at all… it’s more milk than tea, the tea is very weak. Definitely not like how many of the Asian stores do their bubble tea. At least they have reasonably priced coffee, might just come here for that next time.

The coolest bubble tea shop in this area! The vibes/furniture are more traditional tea shop but there are multiple outlets at most seats and the menu is very creative with combination of traditional teas and interesting flavors. For-here drinks are served in glass mugs which is very eco-friendly. There's a sizeable collection of books and board games and lots of natural lighting. There's also a small food menu and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.

Some of the best bubble tea in Madison! And it has a great atmosphere--books, board games, comfy seating inside and outside. Could drop by to pick up a drink or spend an afternoon hanging with friends.

I went on a Wednesday at 12:10pm and the place was filled with children and I waited an HOUR, not an exaggerating, a whole hour for one drink. There was three people working and they had been open since 12pm. There is no reason that a single drink should have taken that long. Would not recommend to anyone.

Just brought in my own reusable to-go containers and they were happy to fill them, walked them back home hands-free. This place is my absolute favorite thing about this neighborhood! The bubbles are always fresh and perfectly cooked, and they strain out the ice so your cup is completely full of goodness. The Bubbling Teapot beats any of the boba tea shops downtown.

The best bubble tea I have ever had was from here. I’ve since moved away from Madison but I cannot ever forget this place—their Taiwan Red Bubble Tea is my gold standard. Every time I go out for bubble tea I find myself comparing it to Bubbling Teapot’s.I believe the new owners of the Bubbling Teapot were employees of the former Jade Mountain, saving the place from closing down. Everyone who works here is wonderful and kind, and the tea tastes just as great as it did before the change in ownership. I’m not a huge fan of tabletop games/DnD/etc but I still find their commitment to the atmosphere charming. If you’re into the fantasy vibe, you’ll love it here! There’s also plenty of space to study or hang out/game with friends. The prices are extremely reasonable, the food good, and they offer vegan/vegetarian options (including non-dairy milks). Love this place and everyone who works hereVegetarian options: Great for vegans & vegetarians: non-dairy milks (almond, oat, soy) for the teas, veggie dumplings and bao tooParking: Abundant street parking

Wonderful! A beautiful cottagecore vibe in a cozy & inviting space. Perfect bubble teas, lovely coffee, a small but delightful food menu and just the right music to bring it all together. Absolutely Dreamy.

Cute little place, highly recommend the taro shake with earl grey tea, 25% sweetness, with bubbles. They have games and books. One of the books had bad words but I just didn't look at them too much (su*t).

I love this place so much! It will definitely become a staple in my routine. The boba is amazing, you get huge portions, and the food is great. I love sitting and reading there!

Great hot milk tea, especially as the days turn chilly. A great “Third Place” for when you aren’t at work and don’t wanna be home.
