We went for prime rib and being a 12 oz prime rib 8 oz of it was pure fat. I get prime rib as fat but when you only get 4 oz of meat and then on top of it the prices were different from the menu to the signage and then when we got our bill it was even a dollar more. When we asked for refills in drinks it was an inconvenience. Won't be going back.Kid-friendliness: Just watch the menu prices.

Lots has already been said about this place, but a couple things that I haven't seen as much--1. It is very dark in the dining room and the bulbs are pink/red. Like, I wanted a good look at my burger after I cut it in half to check out the toppings, and I had to turn on my phone's flashlight.2. The menu says that all burgers are cooked to medium unless specified otherwise, but mine arrived with no pink.3. There aren't any seating options that aren't barrel style chairs or booths. The barstools are the same as the chairs, just higher.It's good! I'll go back when I'm in the neighborhood at an off peak time.

This is the classic wisco pub. Down to layout, furniture, bar setup and everything. The spirit is alive here!Very laid back atmosphere, perfect for hanging out for hours watching sports games or play cards like a couple was doing. Service is a bit rough, they are busy and curt most of the time. Menu is great, lot of choices. The smashburger is the star but they have lot more including soups and such. What makes the food taste better honestly is the charm of the atmosphere and being surrounded by your friends relaxing. So next time you want to let your hair down and show up in your Ugg slippers head over to the Laurel!

The last time I went in on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy, but two of the women bartenders had clearly been drinking. The one with dark hair and glasses didn't understand that someone offered to pay for my drink, so instead she opened a new beer and gave it to me and still charged me for the drink that was supposed to be paid for and the new one I didn't ask for was covered by the other person. It was also hard to get her and the blonde ladies attention. They were too busy talking to other staff by the register.
