The fried chicken is awesome! So are the chicken tenders. They both have lots of flavor and were super moist (even to-go). Very helpful and friendly staff. Please order curbside pickup from The Tin Fox, I want them to make it through this hard time.

Got fish fry and chicken skin chips for take out. What a great value fish fry! Three hefty pieces of cod in a tender, crunchy batter with a large helping of shoestring fries and coleslaw for $13. The chicken skin chips were also everything I wanted - lightly salted, flavorful, and crisp.

Truly only rating them for the pancake battered cheese curds because they're just that good. Covered in real maple syrup too... These are big curds that comes out fresh every time and we make our way over for happy hour pretty regularly now when the curd craving kicks in- definitely stop in and try them!

This has become the favorite brunch option in Madison for my wife and me. The lobster benedict is basically perfect, drinks are awesome, but the best part of coming here is the service and atmosphere. It's family owned and operated and they're the kind of people that recognize repeat customers and will go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be. We've probably been to 95% of Madison area restaurants so I feel like I can confidently say their current 3.5 star rating underrates them. Give them a shot-if nothing else it is gratifying to spend money to people that deserve it!

I came here for an EC Foodie Meet-up and been meaning to go back. The cocktails were great and a good ratio of spirit to juice. The restaurant has a nice layout with plenty of booth seating and a nice bar. Make sure you review their Instagram page for specials and deals like their Happy Hour Burgers. I tried the octopus which was cooked a little too tough, but the portion was generous. Also tried the berry compote dessert which I felt like might be missing another element, but it could be because this was a special event. Will be back during the regular menu hours to get the real deal!

Delicious Lobster Roll and Duck Reuben! I was also delighted to have gluten-free cheese curds. They are very careful with food sensitivities. Friendly, prompt service.

Cool atmosphere. Reservations would be recommended. Not overly spacious. Try the pancake battered cheese curds. For people with a gluten sensitivity these are a homerun. The wait staff is very friendly. This place has become a favorite. Been there twice in a month.

Great brunch with various duck menu items. Duck meat omelette was fantastic. Tasty bloody Mary and mimosa options. Pancake batter fried cheese curds with maple syrup are a must try.

The best tasting soup. Excellent food in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Staff was engaging and very accommodating to our requests. Had the most flavorful, excellently presented lunch.

Service was a bit slow, bit food and drinks were good and reasonably priced.

My wife and I tried The Tin Fox for a “Resturant Week” dinner. For an appetizer my wife got the Ceviche and I had the Feta and Radish Toast. Both were quite good. For dinner we both had the Seafood Risotto. It was absolutely delicious. The menu lists the ingredients as Arborio rice, clams, lump crab, seafood stock, saffron, and salmon in that order but the clams were hardly noticeable (we each saw one tiny one in our dishes, and the lump crab seemed non-existent. The main ingredients were the Arborio rice and the Salmon. It would have been more appropriate to call it Salmon Risotto. Listing the pricier items such as clams and lump crab first seems a little misleading. That being said, we would both order it again as every bite was like a taste of seafood heaven. For dessert we both had the Flourless Chocolate Truffle Cake that was drizzled with a raspberry sauce. It was also delicious. The only change that we would have made to the cake was to leave the raspberry sauce off. While I found it quite tasty alone, I felt that it took away from the chocolate flavor of the cake. Once I scraped the sauce off the cake tasted much better. Maybe the biggest disappointment we had was that the items on the Resturant Week are not on the regular menu. We like to try new restaurants for Resturant Week to see if we would like to go back in the future and we think it is best when the restaurants offer some of their regular items at a good price for a three course meal during this time. The Tin Fox’s regular menu offers many sandwiches and “to share” appetizers but few items that I would consider a main entrée. Hopefully, more items like that offered on Restaurant week can be added as regular items on the dinner menu. Finally, although we loved the meal, we found the portions small and the overall price of $35.00 each for a three-course meal to be slightly overpriced. For what we received $25 would seem more appropriate. Restaurant’s should try to showcase their resturant during Resturant Week by giving a taste of what their establishment has to offer at a discounted price.

Not sure what's wrong in the kitchen. Was there over the weekend. Everything was just bland. The cheese curds were mostly batter. The staff acted as if any rEquests waS a bother Plenty of other places where you are made to feel welcome AND the food is good
