It was our daughter’s bday and this is where she wanted to go. We were happy to oblige. We all had an awesome lunch and shared some yummyass donuts for dessert. Patrick, the owner, and The Victory staff are great. Small but mighty, as they say. I gave 3*’s for “atmosphere” because the furniture could use some TLC, although, to be fair, being open seven days a week doesn’t give a small business owner much chance to run around town getting the type of vintage stuff that makes The Victory what it is.Vegetarian options: Loved the vegetable panini with artichokes, pesto, and avocado on ciabatta.

Only had an egg sandwich here, but the bread was absolutely awful--I don't think I've ever had that complaint before. It was super soft/squishy, like a cheap hamburger bun, and almost granular. Sandwich would be passable if they used decent, toasted bread. The slap of unmelted cheese also lent an unpalatable texture.

Went here for the first time yesterday and had an amazing experience. The interaction we had with the batista/server was very welcoming. The coffees we ordered we great and the cheese Danish was amazing. This is definitely a place we will be coming back many times!

My favorite cafe in Madison. Small yet cozy, cool interior delicious food ( especially love the tuna panini with tea and a donut) great staff and Patrick is always fun to talk to. Feel very at home here. This is where I come just to chill. Oh yeah, the music is always on point, too.

Baristas were very nice, but it must have been an off day because the coffee itself was not drinkable. We all had espresso drinks, which were burned beyond any other coffee I've had. I've never had to dump out a coffee drink until this time and it was not great that we had to pay~$15 and dump it. Loved that they allowed dogs.

While the staff was very kind and this hot chocolate was beautiful, it didn't quite do it for me. I ordered a peppermint hot chocolate, which I found to be too sweet and overly minty. The ambiance is quite pleasant, so I may try it again.

Wow- Patrick sure runs a nice cafe! I was so impressed by how nice and warm he and his staff were when we had breakfast there yesterday. Like genuinely kind. He also makes a mean cup of coffee, which doesn't hurt. I had the egg and cheese sandwich and it was delish- especially the bread. My son had a watermelon doughnut, which was surprisingly tasty and vegan, I understand. The cafe is super cute and the walls are adorned with beautifully unique paintings by the owner.

A yeasted waffle. I could tell the second I saw it. And now I'm sold on the place forever. A place that does a yeasted waffle is unique and doing the lord's work. Additionally, my flat white (offered to me on the house as it was my first visit) was impeccable. The most immaculate shots I've had in awhile. And the playlist could not be faulted. What more do you need really?

Ended up here from a happy accident. Was craving smoked salmon and the first place I went to was out. I wish I would have taken a picture but my sandwich was delicious and I mentioned that I had just moved to the neighborhood and it was my first time visiting and the owner (I assume) gave me a donut to try. The donut was also delicious and I will definitely be back soon.

Great double shot decal hazelnut latte. Great place to have coffee. One of the best coffee shops I've been to and I've been to many of them.

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet, as I practically live there. Patrick and his crew give me hope for humanity. They’re the best kind of people and I always feel at home at the Victory. The coffee is secondary to the community and charm, but is still pretty damn good! 1000 outta 10 recommend this cafe
