We got there a little before closing on a Sunday, and even though there were no other diners, the owner seated us and cooked a wonderful dinner for us. The apps were wonderful (one of the best babaganoush's we've had in the Midwest), the pita was warm and the entrees were wonderful. We will definitely be back, with friends, so we can try more things. Glad to have this experience in Madison.

Excellent service; Excellent food; I have always been reluctant to write reviews but this place is worth it!

What a wonderful discovery. Sunday brunch kabobs for two with sides provided an unparalleled view into Turkish cuisine. Service was wonderful and delivered with pride.

I'm not from Madison, but when I return, I'm coming here. I cannot say enough about this place. We were a party of 4, celebrating spouse's birthday. The food is terrifically good. Spiced and flavorful. We had the appetizer plate, the mixed kebab platter, and baklavas. Every one of the dishes were outstanding. While I have not been to Turkey, my guess is this is authentic. The owner and wait staff were all super attentive, kind, and personable. Such a joy to dine here. I only wish we had this where I live.

Service was very slow tonight which didn't match our first experience. The waiter seemed to not understand English, therefore served us the wrong meal. Wholly unfortunate because the food quality and quantity is amazing and the owner is friendly. Value per cost is very good, hopefully the waiter can learn to compliment the establishment because we enjoy TK.

The food was incredible. We got sample platters of appetizers and the entrees so we got to try so much for a great deal. I loved it all and we had so many leftovers to take home. Also staff was so friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect. ?

This is an absolute gem in Madison! Their food and hospitality are impeccable. I've been there for breakfast and dinner, both times my friends and I felt grateful for their existence (not an exaggeration). Expect having an authentic and non-Eurocentric dining experience, otherwise you might be disappointed by having no server to carry an unsolicited conversation about your day or the weather.

We were visiting Madison over Easter weekend and went to Turkish Kitchen for lunch. First, the restaurant has nice ambience and lighting, very open and pleasant. There was music playing but it was not too loud. Then, the food. We got lentil soups and split a Turkish breakfast. The soup was piping hot and really hit the spot after a chilly morning outside. Since the breakfast was going to take a little while, the server also brought out pita bread (warm and fresh) with hummus, baba ganoush, and a couple of other spreads. Next, the breakfast. Beautiful plate of cheeses (feta and another mild cheese), olives, fresh cucumber and tomato. The eggs were perfectly cooked in a tomato and sausage sauce with melted cheese on top. Also a nice selection of honey and preserves to go with pita, plus of course Turkish tea. Overall a really lovely meal and I look forward to eating there again when we are next in town.

The food, service and atmosphere is excellent! We got complimentary wine and dessert during my friend’s birthday! We are so lucky to have a table (without a reservation) and they are very generous with the wine and dessert too. We leave thinking that it’s best restaurant in Madison!!!

The food was fantastic, but waiter was not able to speak English properly that made the experience a bit challenging.

Best food ive had in a long, long while. If you want good, plentiful, authentic Turkish food this place is the place to go! The babaganoush is exceptional. There is a bit of a language barrier with the waitstaff, but generally everyone is very kind and helpful!

The food is amazing! First it was the lentil soup we had, I have to say. They really know how to make something so simple but so delicious. The lamb and chicken shish kebab were seasoned and cooked perfectly, we have tried a lot of places trying to find the spot for kebabs and I think we finally found it, Our waiter was really attentive and nice. The inside looked beautiful, gave it a really cozy vibe. Will definetely be back!!
