Ordered take out tonight and everything was delicious. Best sushi I’ve found in Madison and less expensive than most other places. The staff is also always so kind and friendly. 10/10 would recommend. (I cut the sashimiin half with my chopsticks, it didn’t come that way lol)

Needed. Quick sushi fix, and this was my close option. Menu had excellent choices, and the Roll I chose was very satisfying. I chose the Yako Roll to see what the name sake signature roll would be like. Will come back to try more.

Only one other restaurant in Madison has comparable sushi. The ingredients are fresh. The rice in the sushi has the right moisture.Vegetarian options: Plenty of selections.Parking: They have their own parking lot.

Sushi was incredible. Beautiful presentation on all dishes ordered. Took almost an hour for our sushi to arrive at our table, but well worth the wait! Would have rated 5 stars but due to the fact one of the members at our table got their appetizer AFTER their main course. They were finished with their entrée sushi before myself and the other person in our party even recieved our entrée. Would have been a lower rating due to this. But seeing they were busy and still managed to make the correct plates, it became the best sushi I have ever had. Flavors were very good, fresh sushi. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The bubble tea was made in house! Cream Cheese Wontons with the sweet chili sauce were AMAZING.Thank you Yako Sushi House for the amazing meal. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible ramp at main entrance.
Truly incredible! I’ve been searching for a specific roll I used to get back home. 10 years later, and I’ve found the place. The sushi is so fresh and thoughtfully created. The family who owns it are the sweetest, and very accommodating.

Got a small takeout order one evening and had to wait quite long, about 25 mins even though they said 15. The restaurant wasn't busy inside but they seemed to have plenty of takeout orders to fill... In the end they got the order wrong - I was given ngiri instead of sashimi so I paid more then I should have. Overall I thought it was a bit pricey as well. And the sushi was only ok. The spicy maki combo was supposed to be tuna, salmon and crab but was actually just tuna and california roll. Now, I realize this review is based on a relatively limited experience and but my first impression was not great.

We were absolutely in love with this place. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. The service was top notch, including awareness and proper hospitality in regards to an allergy at the table as well as the server making sure our experience was going well (letting us know items on our plate, giving recommendations and asking for feedback after the meal). We’ll be back for more in the future. 12/10 would recommend to anyoneDietary restrictions: I have celiacs disease and once I shared this, the server was knowledgeable on this and made extra clear what items I would be okay to eat and adjusted requested rolls to match my restriction

The rolls were all awesome! The Amazing Roll and Volcano Roll are new favorites!!2nd visit I tried the Polar Bear and the Hot Girl; both were great! The boys love the tuna and California rolls. There are so many unique options...by far our new favorite sushi place! I can't wait to try them all!!I appreciate the hard working people here. They are very friendly despite being extremely busy.2.3.24Mt Fuji Roll and Double Yellowtail. 2 more fantastic rolls. Service was awesome as usual. We love it here!!!
