We were there at 7 pm. Some flavours were out of stock and the others were too frozen. The employee couldn't make a nice scoop because the ice was too frozen. The paper was stuck on the cone. I couldn't tear it off, it was kind of molten in the cone.
If you read my previous recent reviews of Manitowoc, you already know quality along Calumet Avenue is not their forte. During my first visit to this DD, I ordered two pints of ice cream - one Mint Chocolate Chip and the other Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. My second visit was for two cups of coffee the next day. The orders seemed simple but I was wrong. The XL coffee was supposed to have 4 sugars and 5 creams. Either they do know know how to count or their cream and sugar dispensers...read full review

No receipts are ever given, and if asked for one, I get attitude and told that it will be awhile because they need to replace the paper. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese croissant, it was cold and smashed and without cheese. Also ordered omelette bites that were burnt and smashed. I never complain but this time it was unacceptable.
