Extremely DisappointedWhile I wouldn't call my self a expert I have had dinner at many 5 star restaurants, including Michelin star restaurants. While I didn't expect a Michelin star level of food, I did expect better. We order the lobster Mac and cheese for a starter. The lobster was overcooked, and I don't believe it was fresh. Granted, we are in wisconsin, and fresh sea food isn't that easy. But the price we paid, it should be fresh. My main course was the lamb chops. As someone who loves lamb chops and, in fact, rasies sheep, so we have ample supply of lamb, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered them medium, and they came out a bit on the rare side. I do believe in allowing the cook to adjust the temp based on how the cut of meat is cooking, so I forgive them for that. The french cut was poorly done. While the meat was juicey for such a lean cut of meat, it lacked any flavor. The amount of carbon or char overpowered the natural flavor of the lamb. No seasoning contributed to the lack of flavor. I had the bourbon peppercorn sauce, I love peppercorn and found the sauce lacking any strong flavor. Not entirely sure how you mess up sweet potato puree, but they figured it out. There is no seasoning in the whole dish. It was potato puree with peacons on top. Nothing special. The palting was not at all to the level that was expected based on the atmosphere and prices. My date had the prime filet while the cut was amazing it did lack any seasoning. Though that cut of meat really only needed salt and pepper. She also had a potato puree with bread crumbs and garlic. Simple but delicious. She had the apple crisp for dessert. We were not impressed with it, the flavor was off from a traditional crisp and didn't work well together. I had the peach sorbet was was good though the serving size was small. They also don't make their own sorbet. The crisp include was, unfortunately, more garnish than edible. She had the prickly pear Margherita, and she enjoyed it. I found it a bit strong, but the flavor was good. I had ordered the whispering angle and wasn't served it. When the bill came, we found out that we were charged for the potato that was included with our entire according to the menu. Up charged on her scallops, though we were told that they were included with the upgraded prime filet. I find this extremely unprofessional and felt like it was a bait and switch tactic.

I don't just go to a restaurant for the food. Service and atmosphere can make her break a meal. In this case, I wanted to bring a fantastic meal. I came in by myself, and felt so comfortable ordering to go from the bartender, Will. he recommended 12 pounds filet mignon and I complemented this with a loaded baked potato. While waiting, he highly recommended the mob craft vanilla, wafer Porter. I usually do not drink, porters or spout, but he was right. This was a very move and mellow beer with distinct flavors of vanilla wafer. Brooke, is a very personable waitress who sent me home with extra bread. Both Brooke and Will enjoy their job and it shows in their conversation. I felt welcome coming in for a to go order and sitting at the bar. As for the food, Will was right. The fillet was very flavorful and tender. Loaded baked potato the perfect amount of toppings. Had I not had to drive 10 minutes home, I would have chosen the Tara Mazzu sundae for dessert. This restaurant exceeded my expectations.

What an awesome place to eat. I am gluten free not by choice and they handle it beautifully. They took it seriously and labeled my food allergy so it wouldn't be in contact with other food. Also waiter, waitresses and chef all sign off that food hadn't come in contact with gluten. Thank you, so many place don't take it seriously and it is. We will definitely be back!

My family enjoyed the dinner gathering, but I must say, the value for the price on my surf and turf was disappointing. The lobster was very small and cold. The service was slow at times for such a large table. I expect more from a Bartolotta establishment.

This was my first time at Mr. B's and I will definitely be back. Service was exemplary and well-paced. The salad was delicious and the Porterhouse for 2 was cooked perfectly. We had 3 cocktails between the 2 of us and all of them were of the highest caliber. I am looking forward to my next visit!

The food was very good. We both had steaks, shared a wedge salad and a great bottle of wine. My 8oz filet was cooked perfect and very flavorful. My husband's ribeye was perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy. Our server, Sabrina, was professional, attentive and friendly. A great evening. My only negative comment is that at a restaurant of this calliber, whose reputation for superior food and service precedes it, there should be a coat room or space for coats. Having to put my coat on the back of my chair is unacceptable.

This was the first time for several of us at Mr. B's. Everything was excellent for our evening. Samantha was a wonderful waitperson who was attentive without being in your face all the time. The food was delicious and was everything we hoped for.

The food is always excellent. No matter what we have ordered, it has always been good. Service was a little off at this dinner but I think the issue was one waiter vs. a team of two that they normally have for each table. Our waiter seemed a bit overloaded with work but honestly was trying to keep up. A couple issues with our food order not being correct/done together but that could have been the kitchen rather than the waiter, too. While the service wasn't quite as top notch as normal, it certainly wasn't bad and won't deter us from dining at Mr. B's again in the future. I tried the roasted carrots hoping that they would be like the carrots that were there when it was Joey Gerrards, but they aren't the same.

Had a very nice night at Mr. B's. atmosphere was great, staff was awesome and very helpful! Sabrina and Riley took exceptional care of us. The prawns were delicious, and my wife had the scallops and said they were the best she has ever tasted!!
