We have not been here in years. It was such a treat! The food was as wonderful as I remembered. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and I ordered the walleye almondine which was beautifully done. The roll basket had a variety of breads and muffins. When you go leave room for dessert: Creme brulee, key lime pie and strawberry schaum torte. Yum! Cocktails were perfectly prepared and staff was friendly and attentive. Love the historical building, too. What a great place in Mequon to go.

We tried to go here because we saw online it was wheelchair accessible, it's not. There's a ramp outside, but steps when you get inside.

An icon of Mequon with a great feel for old Wisconsin. Great fish fry, can be very busy on weekends as it is a neighborhood hangout for many.Parking: Parking is out back, looks like it fills up quickly but there is more space once you get in there.

Excellent food, service, drinks and quaint environment. We had the Friday night fish, fry and cheeseburger and both were excellent, cooked to perfection, served, warm with generous side dish portions. I highly recommend this restaurant when your in the area.

This restaurant i give 5 stars for two reasons. I worked here over the summer and it saw the quality of the food. Second the chefs that are in the kitchen are top notch. I would put those chefs up against any chefs in New York, San Francisco, Houston and Miami. The lady who runs the place is not the friendliest as far as how she treats her staff (talk down to them a lot)...which is why I don't work there anymore. However the chefs do a GREAT JOB there. If I had to rate her it would be 1/2 a star. But great food

Food was ok. Not fantastic. Excellent service. Old restaurant with no decor changes in 50 years. Menu probably that old too. Elderly clientele.
