DJ is not live music. Earlier in the week when I asked when there will be live music next I was told "probably Fri & Sat like we always do". Then called again Thurs to make sure, as we have friends in town and can go anywhere, and again very confidently stated there will be live music Fri. Got there Fri and they were expecting a DJ. Didn't stay since place empty as well.

My husband and I visited this restaurant while in town. This is basically a bar but the kind of bar you should go to if you’ve had a few beers. It wasn’t clean. We were scared to eat so we left.

The club is being remodeled. I get that. I know it has just changed hands. I get that too. We went in on Saturday for prime rib- so knowing those things about it, we asked at the bar if they were serving dinner and if prime rib was available. We were told yes they were serving dinner but not the prime rib as they were short in the kitchen that night. We stayed and ordered sandwiches. I ordered my rib eye MR it arrived well done, ick. We ate our dinner without complaint until more customers arrived and started ordering the PRIME RIB! Wait, what? Yep, prime rib. Sorry, won't be back. After all these years, so sad.

Love when they have events and buffets that go with it! The catering/buffet food is 10x better than the normal menu. Excluding sunday breakfast! Prime rib is always on point! New bar set up is great, the staff can truly see everyone with hopefully less wait times.

We are frequent Club Tavern patrons coming from Sun Prairie for what use to be a great Saturday or Sunday Bloody Mary and a few drinks and food. This is the first time we have been back since Moose Sold and it will be the last. They were not busy and you would think with 3 people behind the bar and an employee giving directions sitting at the bar one would be able to get a second drink! They were more interested in figuring out their tip screen then serving ! We will not be back which is a shame because in the past we have really enjoyed it there!

As a younger person I felt a bit out of place in this bar initially. The patrons were friendly and changed the atmosphere almost immediately. I attended a bingo night with my fiancée and we both enjoyed it.

Went to see a friend's band for the first time. Thought it looked and sounded great, good service, no cover, good drinks. Will definitely go again.
The food here is surprisingly good. Simple but good. I had a Ruben sandwich and it was one of the best if had. With that said the interior of this place absolutely disgusting but at the same time inviting. Four stars if it gets cleaned up a bit.

Great fish fry and burgers but I guess Moose must have sold the restaurant part? They used to also serve great steaks, I miss those. They still have prime rib, though, and that's pretty good. Only thing is it seems like service can be pretty spotty, sometimes rude. Food and drink specials are worth the toss up on whether service will be friendly, though.

This place use to be my wifes and my favorite dive bar/restaurant but Moose just sold the restaurant part of the business. It will be interesting to see what the new owner does with the place. I hope they keep their fish fry and prime rib the same.

Went here for the first time because I got a GroupOn as a gift, and was pleased with my experience. The food was solid and the prices were very reasonable. It isn't a fancy restaurant or anything, but had sort of a "bar with a sit down area too" kind of feel. Fun place to go grab a bite to eat. Will be returning.
