We have had delicious Friday Fish at Kosh several times, and went again tonight for fish. Tonight they were out of potato pancakes - no biggie, the baked potatoes are good too. The fish was fantastic. We were disappointed that there was no cole slaw on our plates. When we asked the waitress she just said they ran out. Nothing was said when we ordered or when we were served and no substitution was offered, nor any adjustments to our bill. This was very disappointing, as we have eaten there many times. We will be back, because we are hopeful it was just an one time incident.

Hadn't had Kosh Kabin before but live nearby & always see how many vehicles are there. Thought we'd try their fish fry, with a 3yr old at 630pm, a bar wasn't optimal so we ordered to go. They said 40min. Wanting it as hot as possible, I showed up after 30. Took 8min just to be asked what I needed. I signed my ticket bc we paid in advance. Another 15min goes by while I can see a to go bag sitting on the counter. A waitress took a 5min break in front of it. I hoped it wasn't mine as bartenders & waitresses zipped around me. Finally, the bag is brought to me & I say I was hoping it wasn't mine as it's sat there since I've been there for 20min. She let me see it, soggy as can be. She took it back to the cook who decided he was only going to fry the walleye. Our fries were soggy & room temp at best & my baked cod was in pieces like it'd been torn apart. I wasnt even asked, the whole time I was there, if I wanted a drink while I sat at the bar. Wish I could post a picture! They even left our coleslaw on the bar; I repacked it myself after asking if it was ours. She said "probably" & walked away. Thanks but no thanks.

Everything was great BUT…. I order the soup and salad bar with my meal. I got a bowl soup ( thought it was a potato based soup) it was not. It was clam chowder ( I’m allergic to shell fish)It was not properly label. I didn’t realize it until I took a spoon full. I started to freak out. Luckily I got some bendaryl. I told them . She passed it on the owner. And I know they were talking about me. Just wish the owner would have came over and spoke it. Fish allergy is no joke…
