This location of Anodyne is one of my favorite coffee shops anywhere. They roast at this location. They always have several roasts on drip. They also have outstanding lattes, specialty coffees and pastries. In the evenings, they have occasional live bands, beer, wine and coffee cocktails. There's a large stage, good wifi and plenty of seating.

They had about six people working behind the counter and their espresso machine has three portafilters. Despite this, I had to wait 20 minutes to get my latte because only one of the six people was actually making espresso and steaming milk. The other five were... I'm not really sure. Doing other things, I guess. One of them was just working the register, but there wasn't a constant stream of orders or anything, so a lot of the time they were just standing there. The other people were probably doing things that needed to be done at some point, but probably not at that exact moment when there were like 15 people waiting for drinks.Poorly managed.

Wow what a unique coffee shop! The interior looks like a brewery and you can even see the roastery in the back. It's a very large space and on sundays they have live children's music. I had an iced dirty chai and was very impressed. They also serve alcohol

This is the second time we went there for a musical event (Albert Lee) and we loved it.
This is a great old building, with a lot of character.Annodyne has the best coffee in Milwaukee, and that I have ever tasted.I was there for the Jimmys concert, it was packed, probably 250 people there, most had seats.They have a stage, which you could see and hear anywhere there.Street parking is difficult there, you mau need to walk a couple of blocks.
