Why have I waited for 5 years here in MKE to try this? Tonight, I took my father out to dinner. He is nearly 87 and pretty much loves steak. I'm vegetarian. Therefore, finding a place that has quality food for both of us is a chore. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness. The staff was exceptional. Our waitress, Mayah was as thoughtful, intuitive and fantastic as the best customer service goals could envision. But, the big thing, besides the beautiful, elegant space right across from Lake Michigan, was the meal. Bacchus offers several options for a fixed price meal. And, at $70, it is a serious deal. I found the vegetarian options inspired. I had the LACLARE GOAT CHEESE CURDS: blueberry compote, arugula, smoked walnuts, macerated blueberry, vanilla, and Tellicherry peppercorn. For my main course I had the butternut squash risotto. And, for afters, the pear and sunflower. My father went straight for the filet mignon. So, the result was a big thumbs up, 5 stars. Kudos also for actually having a vegetarian menu, being super accommodating to my father in his mobility scooter (holding the doors open, etc.) and lastly, thank you to the valet parking attendant for being so speedy and gracious. Go.

Great dishes, great service, high quality ingredients, perhaps slightly lacking innovative flavors or presentation, but a great meal.

I had flown into town for my birthday, the best birthday dinner ever. I had gotten the 5 course with wine pairing and that is the best choice. Every few months I come to town and I will be back for another fabulous dinner... worth every penny..

I was there for a dinner event. The decor and atmosphere was immaculate! The room we were in had so much natural light, I think I enjoyed it more than most.I had the filet, it was 10/10.Sarah was one of the servers that took care of us and she was incredible. This place is definitely swanky. Bringing a date here will definitely impress. You can also see the lake from the room in the photos. There was also valet parking.

Absolutely outstanding . The service is the star . Everyone is so attentive . Sommelier and general manager goes out of his way to make you feel special . My scallop curry was delicious . Lots of special touches . Next time I'll get the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing so I can Listen to the sommelier tell about the wines!

It was a fine dining experience as advertised. Prix fixe menu design. My husband and son had the rabbit and venison and were delighted. I was pleased from the amuse bouche potato salad with truffle oil, scallops, to the layered marscapon dessert. It was my birthday and a molten chocolate cake arrived. We each tried a signature cocktail and shared a French rose. Service was attentive without being overbearing. I would certainly return.

My Fiancée and I had an amazing evening celebrating our engagement and the staff at Bacchus went above and beyond to ensure that our evening felt special. The food was immaculate and the wine pairings accompanying the tasting menu were exquisite. We can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary!

Couldn't be better ... the crafted cocktails were exquisite ... the tasting menu was delectable ... and the service was attentive ... would not consider another dining experience over this one!!!

We celebrated our anniversary with a delicious 3-course meal. I savored roasted parsnips, Filet Mignon, and Caramel Apple, but the standout was the white cheddar ice cream with my dessert. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the curry carrot accompanying the parsnips despite not usually liking curry. My husband enjoyed LaClare Goat Cheese Curds, Pan-Seared Spottail Bass, and Cheesecake Mousse. We both agreed that the cheese curds were exceptionally delicious. The service was impeccable, complete with a thoughtful anniversary card that made the evening special. Overall, the dining experience rivaled that of New York City's finest establishments.

The idea is great, the food not so much. The bland main courses were not satisfying. The bolognese was incredible and so was desert. The waitress even knew bringing out the food stating how great it was (basically telling us it was the highlight) and she was right! The filet should not even be able to be in the same conversation as the bolognese.

This was a birthday treat for me. Hadn't had a "Wow!"meal in awhile. This meal had many Wows. Everything was really good. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was so good. And with rewards we had $25 off a bottle of wine. They recognized my birthday with a pretty and delicious dessert. Atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. All around really nice experience.

They did well keeping food quality and service standards high while managing the stream of Valentines couples. I was not a fan of the music ( not romantic enough ). The food was original and delicious.

The service and ambience was absolutely incredible. However, for how much dinner cost, we were expecting something unique and exquisite. What we got was very average. I wish we would have gone elsewhere and paid 1/5th the price for a comparable dinner.
