Does anyone know if the restaurant still rotates 360°?

Incredibly substandard for a hotel breakfast. Nothing a al carte basically what you would get at a holiday Inn, except that would be free.

I love my visits to the Hyatt Regency Hotel Downtown Milwaukee due to the amazing service of Koty the bartender. He makes the most amazing custom cocktails that provide a truly enjoyable experience. He ask the flavors you like in addition to preferred alcohol. And then creates a masterpiece. He always delivers and keeps my coming back on a weekly basis for more with as many friends as I can get to come with me! He is a true gem to the hotel, bar and overall superior service!

This restaurant was closed 2years ago. The bar restaurant Julep is the only onsite option.

It's "Julep" now. Not sure why. But the bartender was very off-putting. He liked to argue and contradict everything anyone else said.

This place needs help. The management team is so so so overworked for only $12/hour, and they work 60+ hours a week and are expected to pick up after their useless union restaurant workers. Do everyone a favor and don’t eat here, go tip servers who actually care about their place of work

Breakfast was horribly overpriced and awful. I just wanted a bagel with cream cheese, not the 18 buffet. I was directed to where the bagels were hanging on pegs on a strange plinko type board . The bagel was so old and tough that I could barely bite into it. It was like a giant bad crouton. Even though I hated it, we decided to try it for dinner tonight. Waited at the hostess station to be seated, no hostess ever showed up. Went into the bar area to ask for menus, and was completely ignored. Just as well, since there was a woman with a screaming infant in the bar while she was having martinis, so I doubt I would have been able to relax at all. 2 stars because the server for breakfast was nice, but just don’t eat here.

Bartenders are cool, but the manager is an a******* A half an hour after I'd already paid for a drink and sat down in space between the lobby and the bar, minding my business, he marched up to me, made a scene like I had and told me I was disturbing an invisible "private party" (because some sign was hidden behind a pillar and seven or eight scattered people were sitting around on their phones barely talking to each other and had evidently "reserved'" the lobby); NO ONE by that point had asked for my credentials and there was no indication of a reserved space. Plus a manager who respects his paying guests would have inconspicuously and quietly kneeled down and informed me there was a private "party" and apologized for the lack of visible clarification. Instead he marched up, spoke down to me and made a made a scene. I went to the front of the lobby to speak to the manager (that's when I was surprised to learn he somehow WAS the manager), and then went back to the bar to ask for my money back--making sure to go AROUND the "reserved party" area. Evidently raced me back to the bar to gossip about me to the bartenders and when I get there he accused me of walking through the "reserved area," called me a liar when I told him I respectfully walked around the perimeter, then started threatening me. He told me I couldn't have my money back because "You already sipped your drink!" Evidently he doesn't realize people go to bars for a pleasant experience, not the drink, and he had made mine a deliberately unpleasant experience. So he doesn't even understand his customer base, and certainly doesn't know how to treat them. Spare yourselves the drama, this is a very negative atmosphere.

Nice that the hotel has coffee makers in the room but we are not a fan of the powder creamer . So we stopped in at the hostess station and asked for a small cup of milk, $4.50 I could have bought 2 gallons!! As my daddy used to say, if you have to ask, you don't belong. I felt badly because I watched a family with two small children heading in for breakfast.... again Lesson Learned...

This is a nice hotel. The location is great, but....options for eating are limited. One restaurant for a hotel full of people? I tried to get a bite to eat delivered up to the room after an event and the phone to room service rang and rang and rang. Given the scope of the event I attended and a Milwaukee Bucks game going on simultaneously, I would have thought they would have staffed up to be able to satisfy demand, but that wasn't the case. The room was bright and clean, but the wood in the bathroom was chipping and warped from dampness. This is not a luxury hotel. By the way, there are no cabs, very little open restaurants in the evening in this area. I got this through Groupon and parking was included, so because of that, it was worth it to avoid the drive back to Chicago at night.
