Small causal spot nothing fancy. But the food is good and plentiful. I had the Goat plate. Loved the yellow rice, meat was tender and flavorful. That Samosa with the Jalapeno sauce was amazing.

Excellent food at great prices. Platters are large and will fill you up. The goat was super flavorful. The chicken was my favorite. Even the basmati rice was killer.

The food is always so good and the service is wonderful. Highly recommend the steak sandwich or for platters, the tilapia with rice or steak with Kay-kay are wonderful.

I ordered hummus and it came with fresh, warm pita bread with the samosas. The crust around the meat filling was very good. I tried the watermelon juice as well. I would definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: Halal and vegetarian friendly

I used to order food from here regularly and while it was good I was shocked to see that prices have literally jumped 100% for their platters over a couple years. Understandably prices have increased substantially for food but doubling in a short time span is a pretty gutsy move on the restaurant's part, especially considering that it's a pretty barebones place.

The best spot in Milwaukee. The owners are wonderfully kind, the food and portion sizes are fantastic. The baklava is better than anything I’ve had before. Can’t recommend the chicken suqaar and tender goat platter enough!

I love the goat platter. Every other thing I've tried is wonderful. This is one of my favorite places to introduce to people who are new to Milwaukee. The couple who owns the place is amazing.

Has to be in the running (if not the winner!) of the pound-for-pound best restaurant in Milwaukee. The location is nothing to write home about, but you stop caring about that as soon as you start eating. The food has been INCREDIBLE every time I've had it (at least a dozen times), and quality hasn't changed dining in vs. takeout vs. delivery. The goat is perfect for this style and quality of food, but if that's not your preference, the chicken and beef options are still better than you'll get most anywhere else. A couple sambusas are a must, and the platters are definitely big about to split between two people (I almost always order a platter with rice or kaykay). Ask for extra green sauce and yogurt, and if you're dining in, keep an eye out for fresh desserts!

A cute and casual little restaurant with amazing food and lovely owners. Super filling and very affordable. I usually have a few meals from one platter so it's a steal. Will be back

Home of the best carryout on the east side. I normally get the chicken platter with basmati rice, but everything here is delicious. The friendly owners are usually the one's taking your order and making your food. I don't know how they get their chicken so tender and flavorful. On my first visit several years ago, I was a little skeptical about having raisins in my rice along with small pieces of potato. But the sweet raisins offer a great flavor contrast when you add the spicy green homemade jalapeno sauce. And I'd highly recommend getting an extra container of that green sauce.
