Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of traveling and an afternoon walking all around Milwaukee, I came to Buckley’s with my parents for dinner. This converted home has been turned into a fancy-casual restaurant with an exquisite atmosphere. I tried the Broccoli starter, which came with a nice miso tahini sauce that provided a unique flavor. The Buckley Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat itself was so high quality and full of flavor, and the crisp brioche bun and toppings and condiments complimented the burger perfectly. I also had the Lobster pasta and it lives up to how delicious a lobster dish has to be. Absolute class when it came to combining the lemon and tomato flavors with the lobster in a light pasta dish. My Dad also says the salmon dish he had was really good. For dessert, it was hard to choose which of Mrs. Buckley’s items to get. We got the famous carrot cake and the seasonal St. Patrick’s cheesecake. All I know is that Mrs. Buckley doesn’t miss! Both desserts were so delicious and the high quality showed once again. The service was great, too. We were never rushed even with the restaurant being packed. The waitress was very nice, answered questions, and told us a little bit about the Buckley family. On top of everything mentioned, the pricing was very good and the portions were large. Overall, this is a restaurant I trust after my first visit. You can’t go wrong with Buckley’s. 5 STARS!!!!!

Hands down, my favorite place to dine in Milwaukee! The cocktails are wonderful, the entrees are superb, especially the salmon, and the desserts are homemade and fabulous! Excellent service and reasonable prices, too!
We went to celebrate our anniversary. We received an enchanting dining experience. The host staff was warm and welcoming. Our table was ready when we arrived. Tina introduced herself and asked for our cocktail order. My wife enjoyed her Sauvignon Blanc and they made me a great Manhattan. We loved the Roasted Brussels Sprouts; Scallops and the Vegan Smoked Sweet Potato. The portions were generous and the food delicious! Although we passed on dessert, the Carrot Cake looked amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great evening!

Buckley's is our favorite special occasion place--perfect cocktails, great food--every bite amazing, impeccable service, but this was the first time it just didn't cut it. My sazerac tasted like cough syrup, my son's burger was super salty, the brussels appetizer, which is usually amazing was half green olives and gooped with aioli. I had a vegan entree--smoked sweet potato with fennel and chickpeas. Smoke sweet potato was very tasty but there were a few pieces of maybe fennel with no flavor, a bunch of braised green onions, and a sprinkling of chickpeas, hardly enough for "protein." We are moving and this was probably our last visit here for a long time, so it was pretty disappointing.

We hadn't been to Buckley's in years, and were really delighted by our experience there. The service was excellent - both our waiter and the bartender went above and beyond to engage with us, offer recommendations and simply be courteous and kind. The food was also excellent.

Buckley's never disappoints! Hubby had the pasta, and I had the burger (best burger in town). We started with the roasted brussels sprouts (AMAZING) - very cool combo of olives and almonds added for flair. Drinks are always terrific - he had "old and in the way" craft cocktail (yes, it's really called that) and I had a new wine on the list Grenacha. Sara our server was terrific. Always love Buckleys!
the waiter and staff were super friendly and helpful! felt taken care of the whole experience. very nice to see a family owned place do so well. i love the overall aesthetic of the interior as well. was very clean as well.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. I had to sit at the bar because I did not have reservations. To be fair it was Valentine's weekend.I took an out of town guest for dinner and his initial impression was that it was very "fancy". However, after dinner he confessed that it was one of the best meals he had every eaten. He travels for business and eats in many restaurants. He proclaimed that it is certainly a hidden gem in Milwaukee and would definitely return when he is in town.

The service was horrendous. Dropping entrees while we were still eating appetizers. Never cleared plates. They were stacked on the table, and not just ours. Salmon cooked thru, server never checked back. Nice space, but definitely won't be back.

We enjoyed Buckley's for a belated Valentines Day celebration dinner. The appetizers were wonderful, but the entree pasta was a bit bland. However, we enjoyed it all with excellent wine from the bargain bin and a delicious slice of cheesecake and port for dessert. We thought Buckley's offered incredible value, pleasing ambiance (though a bit loud from a rowdy table, but they were having a fun time!), and adventurous offerings for food and wine! We definitely recommend!
