I am a huge fan of cafe benelux! The atmosphere feels fun and cozy (with awesome outdoor options when the weather is good), the menu is consistently delicious, and the service is great!! you can never go wrong with any of their burgers or their benelux salad!

I've really wanted to like this place for a long time but so many chances, lunch and dinner remain average to bad at best. Ordered a burger (again) medium and came charred to a crisp. However, Breakfast is good and the ambience wonderful especially for summer people watching. But I won't be coming back for lunch or dinner, just too disappointing.
Just stopped in for a drink. My son had the best Old fashioned I have ever tasted, my beer was excellent also. We grabbed a cheese bread app which was also very good. Glad we stopped by.

Had mussels which were extremely fishy. Sent them back for a non descript watermelon salad which had virtually no watermelon in it. Beer was great but food continues to slide with lowlands.

Had breakfast at Cafe Benelux when staying close by the Third Ward. The Cafe is quite large with a big central bar and lots of seating inside and upstairs outside. The ambience is very nice as was my server, Kenna. I had the Short Rib Fajita Hash ($19), and it was a sizeable portion and kept me going all day!! The coffee was good too ($3). Well worth a visit.

Drink prices were I think a bit too high but one knows what one's getting into when they sit down. I decided to have a adult beverage recently and was shocked at the prices for just a beer and a hard seltzer.
