Went to Cafe Hollander and had a few drinks and some delicious Salmon. Ken took care of me and he was phenomenal, great service. Will be visiting again!

Keep trying to give this place another chance but it's just awful. This latest time, I ordered food and they came back to me 30 mins later to say they are out. Will never go back.

I went to the restaurant recently and was pleasantly surprised at how great the service was. Our server was Alexa and she was extremely attentive to us whether we needed another drink or just simply checking in. She was a warm face and really made our dining experience enjoyable. The food and drinks were also great!

Stopped in for brunch today and had Jack as a server, he always checked in with us and made sure we had what we needed, our waters were never less than half empty. Phenomenal service.

Workers were unfriendly and rude. Host straight up screamed "Reservation?!" at us before greeting, and then our server made no effort to check up on us. No table check up and no hospitality. Would not come again.

Stopped in for a tea as I waited for my next appointment. The menu was full of deliciousness- I'll have food next time. Service was fast and friendly, and the energy of the place is welcoming to folks who want to have a drink and chat or read a book.

I do not love this location of Milwaukee, but they definitely make the atmosphere inside very nice! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The beverage menu is extensive, especially for the beer drinkers. I've had one of the bloody mary's and the tropical mule before, both very good! I loved the shrimp salad. The cheese curds are great! I recommend having 3 or more people to split them though. The frites cone is good, especially because you get to choose two of their great dips! The Sriracha ranch is my favorite.

Came in for an early dinner. The space is open and inviting, exposed wood and brick. A great beer and cider list, and a fairly expensive menu including quite a few vegetarian options. We started with the brussel sprouts. The flavor was delicious, but they were hard as rocks. A word with the manager, and it was graciously taken off our tab. My husband had the club, which was very good, and I had the Bolognese, which was also good. Our waitress was wonderful, taking care of us without hovering.

Pretty sure they'd rather i went somewhere else. Sad considering i always appreciated Idol's operations but maybe it's just me and here. Oh well.

I live so close to this cafe Hollander and everytime it is delicious. I love the burgers, their pretzel breaky sandwich and the Mac and cheese! One time I got the Mac though it was a extremely spicy after I asked for no peppers on it
