Glad we chose Carnevor in downtown Milwaukee for dinner! Enjoyed nice Freemark Abbey decanted wine and a fabulous meal. The 16oz bone-in filet Oscar style was excellent! The service of the entire team and our waiter, Eric, was outstanding!

Pros: Location Most food options Attentiveness of the support staff Clean Cons: Gluten free options: they can "make anything gluten free" which basically means they remove food from the order. No GF bread, crackers, pasta, etc Server was ok. End of meal, didn't see him for 15 minutes. He came back with the check and never asked if we wanted dessert. Reservations, ha. We arrived on time and no table. Stood around to wait. Ambiance was very loud and apparently it's a place where people can wear sleep attire which makes it very unromantic for those dressing up. Hard to blame them but it is the environment. Steak was overly salty and I like salt. Chairs were like those you stack up from church or school. We won't be back but that doesn't mean it's a bad place. Just not for us.

Heavenly meal, perfect service & wonderful ambience. Celebrated 25 yr. wedding anniversary. Staff was wonderful and tasteful in acknowledging our event. Even ran into Milwaukee Brewer Christian Yelich who graciously took a picture w/my wife. Immediately shared it w/my son who's a fan and attending school in AZ. Intend to celebrate there next yr.

Overall I thought the service was good but the food and drinks seemed a little overpriced compared to other steakhouses that we've been to that had better service. We ordered the Wagyu Brisket for an appetizer which was good but definitely not worth the price. I ordered a filet mignon with truffle butter - unfortunately, it came plain and was way too salty for me. My husband ordered the Ribeye with blue cheese and he liked it. The truffle frites were phenomenal.

One of the best steals you will eat in the state of Wisconsin. If you’re not having an amazing imported wagu, then you’re having one raised on their own farms here in Wisconsin. There is just something awesome about Knowing what you are eating and where it came from.

We visited Carnevor for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. The ambiance is dark and somewhat mysterious which we liked. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and he took the time to throughly review the menu with us. He also explained their aging process and the result was fantastic. We both enjoyed filets with sautéed brussel sprouts. Definitely recommend the stuffed olives with a cocktail too!

Best steakhouse I have ever been too, and I’ve fine dined before. Whether it be in Chicago, Miami, New York, etc. Everything here exceeds expectations. We always have Eric as our waiter and he is absolutely amazing. Love carnivore!

I reserved a table online and noted that it was our anniversary. When we arrived for dinner, we were given a personalized menu that said happy anniversary at the top. It was a very nice touch. Overall, the food was very good, although we found the steaks to be a bit saltier than we normally like. I'm not 100% sure, but it seemed like the steaks were dry brined before grilling, and it was a bit heavy for my taste.The service was excellent and we enjoyed the evening.

The staff here are amazing! I contacted them ahead of time and Lexi helped me plan my proposal to my spouse of 8+ years that went perfectly. They couldn't have been more ontop of everything and supportive. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere elegant, and again just a magical evening. Carnevor is a great place to go to for special events and I recommend 100/10. I also plan to someday bring our children to have a lovely experience since they now want to go since seeing pictures. Thank you again Carnevor for everything you did!

Definitely a meal to remember from the melt in your mouth Wagyu Brisket to the vanilla bean whipped cream. Every bite was so tasty that we thought no way can they top this and they did every plate!
