There is a great vegan selection here. My sister, who is a vegetarian loved being able to choose anything off of the menu without restrictions. I ordered the Red Thai Curry, and it was very flavorful and but the rice noodles in it were undercooked and sticky.

Celesta is my go-to vegan spot in Milwaukee! Everyday I see their Instagram posts of their specials and I’m very impressed by their menu and service. Their team is incredibly friendly and food is always delicious!

Hubby and I had heard a lot of good comments about this restaurant. We are not vegans or vegetarians, but are very excited to try some good vegan & vegetarian food! So... on a regular work from home day, we ordered lunch from Celesta thru Eat Street. We ordered Bang Bang Broccoli, Lasagna (comes w a salad) & Arancini. The food tasted as good as they looked. The Arancini was very crispy outside and creamy inside and tasted not greasy at all. Highly recommend it! The Lasagna was just like the real one - flavorful & creamy filling between layers of pasta that's cooked al dente. The fried Bang Bang Broccoli was yummy - we thought they must taste better when they just come out of kitchen. They were wrapped by a thick layer of sweet garlic chili sauce so they tasted much heavier than the other two dishes. The restaurant prepared our food fast enough (on a Tuesday). The only issue is that Eat Street is not friendly to non-subscribers at all. It charged us almost $7 platform fee and we also had to tip our driver separately.

My favorite vegan restaurant! Staff is friendly and taking adequate precautions due to covid. High quality food that is well prepared! They offer a variety of specials so the menu is changing every week. I love the drink kits. Don't forget to order dessert!

Seriously the best and kindest customer service! Incredibly fast delivery, food was still hot!! Highly recommend the bang bang broccoli and Mac!! I also love the s’mores dessert bar!! Sooo delicious! No place I’ve been is comparable to celesta! My best friend in Washington craves this so much she texts me about it constantly!!

When I bring up a vegan restaurant to my husband, he cringes. But when I bring up "the amazing broccoli place", he's instantly in. Celesta is SO GOOD! Neither my husband nor I are vegan but I enjoy eating plant based as much as I can. Celesta is phenomenal and the flavors are so great that you wouldn't even think it's vegan. The first time I got the bang bang broccoli and the lasagna. Both are phenomenal. Large portions so my husband ended up having some bites and it ended up being two meals for me. We both loved them. I'm not describing them well enough, but if they sound good to you on the menu, get them. They are that good. Today we got a bunch of things that I've been curious about: - bruschetta - masala dip - cauliflower - Lima fries Love them all. The Lima fries were the biggest treat as the cheese sauce has a great spice and the potatoes are crisp. The cauliflower is loaded with flavor. The bruschetta didn't translate quite as well with delivery but once we got the right ratio of toppings, also delicious. Each time we've had this it was delivery and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend Celesta for all eaters -vegan or not

Absolutely delicious vegan food. The seitan wings weren't tough and their vegan ranch dip was light. They have excellent COVID protocols. Carry out, when your order is ready they place it in front of a window with your name written on it so you can point and they bring it to the door. There's no close contact but still great service. My only complaint would be having to use eat street because the prices are higher than what's listed on Celestas website. Definitely a must try spot for vegan food.

Chef Melanie Manuel is a Milwaukee vegan goddess/icon/inspiration. And her food continuously impresses me. The first time I tried her food was at a pop up at Shorewood's @draftandvessel , where, even cramped in a corner booth, I enjoyed my small paper boat of global flavors packed into animal-free fare. Then, when she rooted her food offerings to the corner of Lafayette and Farwell, I could tell this would be THE place to be: hip, cozy, and bathed in natural light from the huge windows. And despite their gorgeous dining room, Celesta is not playing around with the pandemic. They've shut their doors and opened up for curbside only since the early days of quarantine. They make up for the lack of in-person interaction by responding quickly & kindly to comments online, sharing Instagram stories that feature their food, and offering exciting monthly, weekly, & daily specials on mac bowls, burgers, desserts, and more! From Sep. 2018 to now, my Celesta visits are quite well-documented, not just because of how GREAT food & people look in that lighting, but because of how intimate & delicious those visits have been. I've had a nighttime double date there before a movie screening, brought an NYC friend there for a catchup lunch, got my employer to order Celesta to celebrate my birthday at work, had brunch there with my boyfriend (at least) twice, and brought my sister there for her first mimosa and to commemorate our recently-passed mother's birthday. Celesta's plant-based food is the ideal balance of nourishing yet comforting, and I'm so excited to see that Melanie has even more exciting things (a cookbook and YouTube show!) in the works. NOTES: Don't pass up the seitan chicken garnishes for the bloody marys (which they are offering as to-go kits, btw). Their vegan mac and cheese is creamy and cashew-based goodness, and the appetizer size is enough to feed you for a week. Follow @celestamke , so that someday you'll scroll through your feed and feel your heart beat faster when you suddenly see that weekly special (cough cough pumpkin cheesecake cake-ends Saturday!) that tells you IT IS FINALLY TIME TO ORDER CELESTA (again).

I had a couple slices of my Thanksgiving "roast" tonight and it was AMAZING. I was not excited about this holiday (i'm immunosuppressed and doing it solo for the first time) and this definitely lifted my spirits. The curbside pickup worked great too. Thank you!

I'm going to give you a totally honest review from a non-vegan, for which this restaurant is geared for. This food is absolutely delicious, and doesn't leave you with that heavy, greasy, feeling. I highly recommend the "Bang Bang Broccoli" which quite literally tastes like chicken wings. The owner clearly takes pride in this restaurant and is very active within the community as well. My only regret is taking over 2.5 years of living in Milwaukee to try this place!
