Service was absolutely terrible. I'm so disappointed!! I went out to have a nice time, & instead left feeling worse than when I got there. To start, I walked in & didn't get any greetings. When I asked for a table, the girl was a bit awkward like she didn't know why I was asking for a table? Instead of taking me to one, she made me take myself somewhere. The server I had was super rude, rushing my guests & I to order when they weren't even busy (there was only one other small group there at the time). Upon his arrival, the server didn't ask us if we wanted anything besides the waters he brought us, & instantly insisted on us ordering. We had to ask him to give us a minute as we had just got there & wanted to look at the menu. He quite literally only gave us a minute & was instantly back rushing us to order & was even annoyed we were asking him questions about the menu since he wouldn't give us time to look. I couldn't believe how rude he was. I could've went somewhere cheaper and gotten way better service. I will not be wasting my money or time here ever again.

He was an older man, didn't smile, greet us, ask for drinks, or anything you usually expect. He walked up and immediately said "what are we having" and cut me off as i was ordering and stared at my sister who just opened her menu. Super weird lmao. See for yourself I guess! Would not recommend if you're looking for nice service! Fast food employees will treat you better lol. I was going to ask for a manager but I didn't care enough because I knew I wasn't going back again.

Writing this review with mixed emotions. First- I love Elsa's and always have. Their food is amazing and the ambiance is great. However, my past time at Elsa's was not a great experience... Our server was moody and did not seem to want to be serving us at all. Literally wouldn't look at us while we talked to him and would walk away before we finished talking- shouting out "Mhm, yep." as he walked off. I've eaten here with small groups and large groups before and have only had gratuity added for parties of 6 or more. This past time we only dined with 4 people and got charged the gratuity on the bill. We were going to tip- however we were going to tip reflecting the service we received (which was not good at all). Feels kinda like he knew he did a horrible job and wanted to get a good tip regardless. I feel upset because I've always loved Elsa's and have only had good experiences here. Hopefully it is just this one server and management will figure it out for themselves soon enough? Oh well, still go eat there- it's pretty fricken good.

We were a party of 9. All of us enjoyed our food and beverages. Some of us only had dessert, while others enjoyed the fabulous sandwiches. I personally recommend the grilled cheese.

Carded twice, seated next to both restrooms, ordered a combo platter of all flats and half were drumsticks, and ordered a second bottled beer, which took nearly 10min. Not really given a discard plate for 30 wings. The wings are more bone than meat; take a look at the pic. Full workday, worked out after, ready for my wings, and left disappointed.

Nachos tasted fine but $18 for beef chips cheese and jalepenos is robbery. The service charge is confusing. Especially that it doesn’t all go to the server but rather split between the staff so if you want the servers to make decent money you have to tip even more. The only person who really interacted with us is the host.

Place used to be cool. Now you come in the door at 11:10 and first thing they say kitchen is closed. Like there is a rush for everyone to leave at midnight. Karl would have never let that happen, maybe the sons don’t care anymore. Sad when things are no longer cared for. But they haven’t forgotten to charge people more money.

The atmosphere here is great, servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The burgers and drinks are fabulous!! The only disappointment was the nachos. They were just shredded melted cheese on chips..like something I used to make in my college dorm room. Definitely an outlier from all of the other delicious appetizers on the menu.

We came here for a Galentine's day and the service was really poor. The server was not attentive and we received 3/6 orders incorrect. The food was less than impressive for the price. The drinks were ok but there are plenty of better places to revive a drink.

Elsas came off as very racist on my first attempt to go. I went in and attempted to get seated by the host and was told to wait since I had a larger party. Someone who came in after I did, with a much larger party was seated more quickly. I was irritated at the point. This was already over an hour wait. The place is very small. Do not attempt to bring larger parties here! So as my party was still arriving, I had another guest attempt to be seated and they too, were acknowledged and seated before us. I was over the entire visit at this point. Then the host came outside and tries to explain after he seen we were all together. At the point, it was time to go. I refuse to spend my money where they pick and choose who to accept. That was ridiculous. Almost 2 hrs wasted and no food. I hate this was my first experience because I heard the wings were really good and wanted to try them. Parking was terrible also.

We were introduced to Elsas about a month ago and we were quite impressed! Not so much today at all. Invited 2 friends to lunch who were first timers. Drinks seemed watered down. Chili was very watery also. Burgers not as great either. Not sure we will return which makes me somewhat sad as I have been telling many other acquaintances how much I enjoyed my first visit!

I love elsa’s. it’s my favorite place in MKE for wings. i come here every time i’m in the city and i have never been disrespected in the way i was tonight. my sister and i came in for a nice dinner after the game. our server, STEVE, walked away from us in the middle of us ordering. he was completely disrespectful in every way, zero hospitality. I love the wings. they’re fire. i will request a different server next time.ps, in addition, we didn’t like our dessert. i notified steve of this and he offered me a box for it. (?????) very confusing and ruined the deliciousness of the food.
