Henry’s is a true Gem on Milwaukee’s east side. I love the home town atmosphere and absolutely scrumptious food. My favorites are the Happy Hour bites and amazing drink specials! Wow, they have a fish fry to die for, as well as a place to play cards and board games with friends. Love It!

Perfect little hole in the wall bar/restaurant. Tiny bar, ample table seating, and some of the best people you'll meet in all Milwaukee, much less the East Side!

Great neighborhood pub. Definitely worth a pop in if you're in the Downer area.

I was overcharged $95 at this location, and they explained it was due to a technical glitch. However, the manager never returned my call. I am very disappointed by the complete lack of concern shown.

This was the third time that my wife and I visited Henry's. We found the service severely lacking, almost rude. They guy behind the bar came out to take our order, but did not write anything down. He seemed a bit annoyed when my wife wanted to make some changes to her French Onion Burger. She did not want the garlic sauce. When the burger came out, it was just like described on the menu. Because the guy was also annoyed when I told him that there were no paper towels in the bathroom, my wife decided to just scape the sauce off the burger, and eat it anyway. When I told the bartender/server about the paper towels, he said he knew, was busy, and would get to it later. He seemed busy "chatting up" the people seated at the bar. The soup was very good, and our burgers were okay. We visit MKE quite frequently as we own several rentals on the East Side. We will not come back to Henry's

Nostalgic atmosphere for conversation & a cocktail or three. The quesadilla was a great accompnient with my wine. Not the Henry's of the past, but very close.

So cool to find a cozy, locals "dive" bar in such a bougie neighborhood. Super friendly patrons and regulars. Bar is small though, but they have tables too. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing food. Everything we ate was incredible. The soup was a potato leek soup and we purposely didn't get frites just to try the soup. The chicken was amazingly seasoned, like mole chicken. It had refried beans, who doesn't love to eat beans?! The chicken pesto panini was very well pestoed. Will come back 10/10.

Nice spot for a quick beer and maybe a bite. Cute little place, not a ton of seating room inside but it's perfect for a quick stop. We had beers and some cheese curds (how Wisconsin of us, right?) and it hit the spot in the best way.

The bartender Rory was disrespectful when I asked about the pub's history. I had asked a simple question of how long the pub had been open and all he did was mock me, first by saying since 2 pm and then by saying a hundred years, a simple idk would have sufficed. I understand it was bar close but don't treat all customers like there drunk pieces of s**** I was very sober and hate being disrespected for absolutely no reason. Get a bartender with better customer service skills that was my second time being there and I'll never be back.

Solid divey pub that (feels like it) hasn't changed since I was last here over a decade ago. Having just returned from living abroad, I definitely mean that in a good way. The bartender was a jovial dude who served us with warmth, apologizing profusely for a tap being finicky. Clientele is a motley crew but the music was solidly sing-along-able, and the seating is comfortable enough even for us tall folk.

Great bartenders. Tasty drinks. My favorite place to watch Jeopardy and wheel of fortune.

Husband said it’s a nice neighborhood bar. Didn’t know that they don’t serve lunch so just had a few beers with his friends.

The Fat double chinned blonde hair bartender was very rude and ignoring us all night long with the the other bartender that’s balled with glasses! Forcing us to tip didn’t give me time the first time around to enjoy my one drink so I left without tipping because I won’t be tipping for horrible service and ppl in my ear making me feel bad for not tipping they don’t gotta worry about me coming up there again! Tell the bartender to be better at serving ppl and maybe ppl will leave a nice tip ?
