Underwhelming! I'd heard good things but it was a bit of a let down. I was disappointed with four of the six donuts, and the other two were just fine. You can get better, more flavorful donuts elsewhere.

As some of you know we were going to purchase honey dip donuts on 27th st. But after reviewing their financials and the condition of their deplorable kitchen, we obviously decided to pull out. We payed them $5000 down with a legally binding contract that we can pull out within 2 weeks with full repayment of the $5000. Conveniently he refuses to pay us.. makes sense after reviewing their crippling debt of over $170k with unemployment and work comp... trying desperately to push that debt on me. So I figured after I contacted legal counsel and reported them to every possible Avenue.. I figured I would share the experience we had with you... to start with the 13 health code violations they haven't addressed which includes but not limited to flies in the glaze they pour over EVERY donut they sell to all of their customers. The glaze has been sitting uncovered for over 3 months since the last inspection. Numerous this floating in it. Not a single cleaning item in the entire building except Ajax which they use to wash their dishes with. Not even a drop of hand soap anywhere even in the bathrooms. The mops was covered in mold. They had one towel. One. They used for everything included wiping sweat off his face to immediately wiping the mixers out with it. They used an electric fly swatter to kill flies by the uncovered food, frosting and glaze to which they fell on top of. They have never had insurance on the business since they bought it and have a fryer running for 6-8 hours a day. They need to be shut down. So I reported them in every way possible. Anyone who eats there is likely to get sick. Sad for such an iconic staple in Milwaukee. I added a pic of the glaze so y'all can see!

DONUTS MADE FRESH DAILY!!Large amount of choices and Excellent variety.They also have a small selection of ice cream.Been coming to these 2 for years and never been disappointed!!One of 2 locations. Patronize this business !!Let's keep them open!

It's ok. I've been to the other H.D closer to Milwaukee and I fell in love with that place. So I was happy to see this one, way more conveniently located for me. I'll give it another shot, maybe it was just an off day, but the donuts were stale and very greasy tasting, like they used old oil. And the coffee was the bottom of the pot, so it was really stale. I hope it was a one time thing, and I will update next time I stop in.

Second time I came and they were out of chai and white mocha and then when I went to pull up they forgot the order . We just left. Horrible service and how are you out of common ingredients people order . They won't get my business again !

I do not recommend that you go to this place that treats children with autism badly. If it was for me I wouldn't put not even 1 star. My son has autism and yesterday at about 9:00 pm we went to buy his favorite donut and we were attended by a man without education and without a heart. My son asked him if he could give him the strawberry donut and just because he wanted the top donut, the man got angry and throw back the donut and reluctantly took me and my children out of the store. My children were sad and crying they did not understand what was happening with this man. I explained to that man that my son was autistic and why he had to yell at us. I was so upset about the situation. I went to another place that wanted our order and was going to treat my family well. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!
Used to shop alot here for my donuts until a worker was extremely rude to me and my family, we were asking him for a specific donut but he just kept adding more to our box and instead of saying he didn't quite understand what we were saying he slams the donuts crushing them, i think he should be fired. In all honesty. don't shop here, they'll most likely scam you or treat you terribly plus, they don't wear any masks! Just go some safer to spend your money

We went here before we boarded a flight, the guy at the counter was very rude, acted like we were inconveniencing him by being HIS customer. Seems a lot of people complain about the same guy being rude, and he was very rude to us as well. Nobody wearing masks, place was dirty and unkept and looked like one giant health code violation. I’m not sure how a place like this stays open, but I surely won’t be back. Also, donuts sucked, were stale and were terrible, probably one of, if not, the worst donut I have ever eaten. Don’t support these people, they don’t care about their customers and they don’t seem to put in effort into their profession of making quality donuts.

I used to love Honeydip Donuts! I stopped in on my way to work more times than I can count - it's pretty sketchy on the inside, but the donuts were always so yummy! Unfortunately, in a digital world, I don't feel like Honeydip has stood the test of time. Website? Only if a Facebook page counts. Nutritional information? Non-existent. During my most recent visit, my order was 100% wrong. I ordered coffee and got hot chocolate. I ordered cinnamon raisin and everything bagels and I arrived home to find plain and sesame seed bagels. I should have checked my order before getting home, but it was like they just threw random pastry in a bag and poured whatever hot drink was within reach. Very disappointing!
