I was enjoying a date night with my husband. We had been to a hockey game, dinner at the 3rd Street Market Hall, and then my husband had found this spot on Yelp and thought it would be the perfect place for a nightcap. It is the absolute perfect place for a nightcap. The vibes are warm, cozy, and candlelit. The bartender was outstanding. Their cocktail menu is surprisingly wonderful. We had a lovely time. I ordered a sazerac for my first cocktail. It was wonderful. It's a little heavier on the absinthe than some folks make it so something to note if you're not an absinthe lover. My husband got a Manhattan (which I tried) and it was pitch perfect. For my second cocktail, I got the revolver--coffee forward, strong, and delicious. My husband got a last word, which I also tried, and it was a beautifully herbaceous delight. Just when we think we've tried all the great cocktail bars in the area, one sneaks up and surprises and delights. Get to it!

Recently, my husband and I stayed in town for a night. After the hotel lobby bar closed, we walked down to Stella's to keep the fun going. This bar isn't for everyone, and that's exactly what I love about it. They have a good amount of booze options, and a homey feel. Peaches, the bartender, is the fun sister/aunt I never had but always wanted. I will always stop in here when I'm nearby.
I came here for the first time on Halloween. I really enjoyed the all female bartenders. They gave us a drink that we order consistently when coming to Stella’s and gave us phenomenal service. When we went today 11/15 the bartender made it a point to identify that we did not leave a credit card tip, although we had left a cash one. We were the only black individuals in the establishmentI really enjoyed this bar from the first time I arrived, but the energy of the male bartender on Wednesday 11/15 was off putting and made me not ever want to return to the establishment.

Fox was great and knowledgeable. The drinks were superb. The bouncer almost didn't let us in and then did and then shoved himself into myself and my husband multiple times while we were there. He did hand me my wallet which he knocked down when he bumped into me and I hadn't noticed. Polite gesture I guess, but he didn't seem to want us there. Otherwise, the experience was good.
