This was my first time here at Kawa. I wanted to try something different, and I have seafood allergies. Steven was very helpful with letting the people she works with know that. I never tasted Eel before, and Steven said it was delicious. So, I ordered the Eel (unagi), and it was delicious. I asked what other things she had tried and / or wanted to offer for suggestions, and she showed me different pictures of food so that I could see what it looked like. I then ordered an Unagi Don, which is grilled Eel, sesame, pickled reddish, and Eel sauce over rice. The seaweed salad was okay, and the Eel was delicious. Thank you, Steven, for helping my daughter and I with the menu, trying NEW FOODS, and being FABOULOUS ;) I will definitely come back and try something different

Ordered at 9:58 two minutes before closing time and as I tried to order just a drink the cashier rudely told me that they were closed. This is clearly someone that doesn’t care about her job and knows nothing about putting the customer as the priority.

Excellent food, and very knowledgeable staff. I've eaten here many times. When they have it, the wasabi toro roll is to die for. The grilled salmon bowl and the Hellfire ramen are both amazing as well.
Food was ok, overpriced but that's to be expected in a food hall I suppose. Staff was rather rude and unaccommodating. They seemed annoyed with questions about the menu.

Ordered the Yuzu chicken ramen and was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect the grand amount of fantastic flavor that was packed into this ramen. Staff was friendly and the food came to us right away. Located in the 3rd street market hall, there is plenty to see and do. Highly recommend.
I was in the area for a meeting. But the atmosphere here was soo cool that I had to stop by and eat. They have a front counter section where you can sit down and eat at.I used to frequent the Kawa on North Ave but it closed. This place is good, but the food didn't quite compare to the closed one. Still good though and definitely worth stopping by. Not sure if they change their menus but the hellfire ramen was only available with chicken. The pork was by far superior. Would come back if they offered it.

I ordered the salmon sushi roll at Kawa. The service was quick, but I was disappointed by the quality of the roll. It was just salmon. I was expecting more than 6 small pieces with just salmon in them for the $8+ I spent.

I love spicy foods so I decided to order the Hell Fire Ramen (Spicy temp). It was absolutely delicious. Loaded with protein, rich, savory and spicy broth. You can’t go wrong with that dish.
