Having been on quite a few brewery tours over the years, I was expecting “status quo” on this one, but NOPE! This was hands down the BEST brewery tour I’ve been on thus far! Our tour guide Justin is a national treasure & deserves a HUGE raise! We laughed so hard on this tour, learned a lot, sampled some fantastic beer & left with great gifts & a plethora of fun stories to share with our friends! If you’re in WI & a brewery tour is on your list of things to do then run don’t walk to sign up for a Lakefront Brewery tour! Buy your tickets online in advance & then enjoy! The food here was amazing. Everyone needs to try their cheese curds. Definitely the best I’ve ever had, especially with the garlic ranch. The fish fry was also decent too. I like that you order at the front and they bring the food out to your table. My only complaint was the bartender we interacted with was a bit rude. She seemed annoyed with us before we even started ordering.

I arrived on a whim because I heard the beer is great and cheese curds were the best in the city. I can confirm that is true.But what really stands out is the staff.The expediency with which I was sat by the very friendly and funny Mackenzie on a very busy Friday, the attentive and friendly Alex is great!She guided me through the vast menu and was spot on matching my preferences with the beer she helped me choose. :)If you’re ever passing through Milwaukee and you only have time to go to one brewery, this is the one. if you have time for more than one, start here as I think they set the bar very high!

Visiting from out of state and decided to give this brewery a shot, so glad we did! Excellent food and clean unique atmosphere! You order your food at the counter and let them know what number your table is and they will bring out your food to you! We ordered the pretzel and cheese curds! Hands down the best we have ever had!

If this is your first time in Milwaukee or you’ve never been to Lakefront Brewery, you’ve gotta come here! The experience is great: a massive open area with tables, a stage, and screens along the back wall. One side has the bar where you order from a wide selection of drinks and there’s another part to order food that they’ll bring to your table. Their famous Cheese Curds were delicious, especially the dill (I think) sauce that came with it. I also had the hot pretzel, which was great on its own but also had wonderful dipping/spreading options. Not only is the vibe here amazing to be in, there is also the option to go on a tour of the brewery. I’m very glad I came here and will probably be back if I come to Milwaukee with some friends in the future.

The Friday fish fry is also known as one of the best in the city.The seating is sort of family style, so you may have to share a table with new friends.You can order beer at the bar, or your waitress will bring you or beer to your table.The polka band starts around 4. They have a dance floor for fun.This place is everything Milwaukee. It is a must try.

Love the 1st time there. The food was very good. Fried cheese curds, very yummy. I enjoyed the night competing in trivia with my family. Well done.
Went for the fish fry with a reservation. Food was great! The clam corn chowder was my favorite. Looking forward to going back this summer for a gluten free Friday! 4 stars is for pricing. I know it's hard times for all but for 2 drinks each and 2 fish dinners (which is the piece of fish and a side, We did order an extra side), but total was close to $100.

I’ve heard so much about Lakefront from friends and family, and I can truly say the food and beer are worth the hype!Staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to help with recommendations on drinks and food!When they say the cheese curds are legendary, they mean it!! These are delicious and 100% worth the hype! Same with the MKE Cheesesteak!If you love great beer, great food and an amazing environment and are around Milwaukee I can’t recommend this place enough!

Always a great spot to visit, especially with visitors. A top notch Friday Fish Fry as well. Recommend taking the 15/Green bus and enjoying a walk under the Holton St bridge.

Finally got to visit after drinking their new grist from the cans and got to try the other two gluten free beers that I can't buy where I am in Chicago. Loved being able to go out and drink beer with friends and cannot wait to go back when I'm in Milwaukee again.
