Museum location-Food is good. However portions are very small for what you pay. Not all staff speaks English so there is definitely a language barrier. The museum is a new location so I am hoping things get better with time.

The Filipino food they serve here is very Asian-Spanish fusion. So If you like Asian style fried rice, flan, and burritos you'll definitely love their food. It's all things comfort. Some of their offerings are so good they'll put you to sleep so be discerning if you're ordering lunch for work. Maybe not a heavy burrito for lunch, but their rice bowls and meat sticks will do you good. The adoboburritos are so good. Pork fried rice wrapped up in a tortilla is something you never knew you needed! And because it's Filipino you'll find the burrito has Asian flavors. It's tangy, it's loaded, and it's good. The hot chick is so delicious. I have stood in a crazy long line and ordered *several* times from their food truck, and I order from their shop in the Pabst building. It's so worth it. I get the same thing time after time- deliciousness! I haven't ordered anything that came out mediocre, or bad and I love that. So I am here for the consistency! I love fusion foods (even if they came through the sad history of colonization) and food really does tell a story. It's a story of creativity and survival. It's a story of love and of war. It's a story of warmth and of family. I love meat on the street. The food can be slightly greasy so if you're super clean about eating don't worry it will help you stay in ketosis. Otherwise take a break from salad and make it a cheat meal! I'm telling you-it will be so worth it to gain the best experience of culture and flavor you've had in a while if ever. It's also not the kind of food you need to be super adventurous to try. It's a combination of similar things you already love. So go for it. I also like the story of how they got started. It's so inspirational. She even wrote a book about it. Please eat her food and buy her book. This brother sister duo is crushing it in my opinion, and I hope they stay open for a long time to come. I'd be so sad if we didn't have them in the future. The food they make is great and I love having this diverse option to eat something interesting. Please go eat at Meat on the Street!!

We've gotten Meat On The Street for dinner (both at their brick-and-mortar as well as their food truck), ordered platters from them for the holidays, and even had catering from them for our wedding. Whether you're looking for traditional Filipino dishes or Filipino dishes with a modern twist they have it all! Also, MOTS easily accommodates dietary restrictions with the vast variety of foods they offer. We would highly recommend them!

I've been ordering catered lunches from Meat on the Street once a month since September 2022. They are always so responsive, affordable and punctual! They also have options for Vegan, GF and Vegetarian which helps with many dietary restrictions. Meat on the Street lunch days are always a crowd favorite!!!!Dietary restrictions: GF & Vegan options available

Meat on the Street provided excellent catering services from start to finish! They communicated quickly via email during the ordering process, and were helpful and understanding as we crafted our order. Staff was very friendly and set-up at the event was completely stress-free for us. They provided great menu description cards to be placed by each dish. Food was delicious and had enough variety for everyone to enjoy!

This food is amazing! Its kinda small and hidden but well worth the find! The food is all prepped here and you can tell it's made with love. The garlic rice might be my favorite thing.. ok just kidding the lumpia rolls are my favorite. I could have made a meal with just those. I took an extra 20 home to snack on during the rest of my trip. The steak and chicken were marinated and very flavorful. Yizus was behind the counter and he was very helpful.I like the cozy seats and the historical building is a nice plus. It's a good place for conversation and eating until you can't move any more.

I moved up to MKE from Chicago in August of this year. A friend had warned me that there were no Filipino restaurants here. I was excited to see there was one. Not quite a restaurant, but I was willing to try it.If you're a Filipino American like me, who was raised by immigrant parents and grandparents, this could be disappointing. It was for me.The Lumpia Shanghai was ok. I have definitely had better from Filipino restaurants in Chicago. The pork adobo was not recognizable as traditional. Chopped up into tiny bits - it looked more something you would put in a tortilla instead of over rice. My mom uses pork ribs for her adobo. Needless to say, this was disappointing. I also had the pancit (glass noodles with chicken and veg). Again, nothing like the establishments in Chicago and not even close to my family's recipe.I really wanted to like this place. This is NOT representative of what I think of as Filipino food. Do yourself a favor and head to Chicago for real Filipino flavor.

To say I was disappointed the last time I ate here was an understatement. Instead of being a unique restaurant with amazing, distinct food, Meat on the Street now blends into the crowd. We used to order food here weekly, but last time we bought food it was very underseasoned and drowning in aioli, and I was surprised to see their menu trimmed down to literally just the basics. They even got rid of the tangy/zesty dipping sauces? Please bring back the chicken binakol and the zesty dipping sauce.

Kabobs and Cucumber salad was excellent. The Lupina was good but only half filled.

Yum!!! Every bite was delicious, I had a really hard time saving the other half of my dish for tomorrow, and to make sure I had room for the halo halo! I have always wanted to try it and it was amazing!Vegetarian options: Can make vegetarian or vegan

I've been craving Filipino food and this did not disappoint. I ordered adobo chicken with pancit and five lumpia rolls. The adobo chicken and pancit was masarap (delicious) and reminded me of my mom's home cooking. I've never seen lumpia this long, but it was an amazing taste with this meal. Really enjoyed this food and can't wait until a food truck makes it's way to Madison!

The meat is fantastic. The wife loves the spicy chicken and the kabobs are amazing.100% worth driving downtown for.

I came across this place because it was the only Filipino restaurant in Milwaukee. I've tried both the physical location and the food truck and while I don't consider myself an expert on the cuisine, I definitely have tried better places in Chicago. The first time I went, I tried the lumpia and a pork dish I don't recall. The lumpia was okay but again, I've tried better for cheaper and overall, the food was pretty forgettable. The second time I tried the adobo from the food truck, which was slightly sour (which is normal) and pretty salty but the meat was on the dry side.

Tried this place at the Chicago food truck festival today. Food was good and fresh. Would recommend.

My husband and I came here to visit last May, 2022 while we were at Milwaukee. We ordered the platter size, pancit bihon was poorly cooked it was nothing like filipino pancit bihon, the noodles wasn't cooked and had just a little bit of vegetables, I was so disappointed because pancit is my favorite, we did take out order, the chicken barbecue wasnt cook thoroughly but the pork and beef barbecue was good it was well marinated, the lumpia was good as well, all in all not the best experience, we paid about $60 but wasted most of the food, definitely not going back.We also didn't know it was inside a college building we had to pay for the parking across the street. ?
