To sum up our experience Dining here on Easter after putting down a $20/person reservation deposit and spending over (starting at) $50 per person:The food was not much better than your local Holiday Inn's continental breakfast, no perks, no extra service, no condiments, sugar, or creamer at the table, everything was an ask.diving in on the food, very limited and underflavored options, no fusion or extra thought on all the food items, bog standard, wow bacon and eggs for $50. more breakfast-focused items than brunch focused items, was the chef on vacation?chicken tenders felt like they were from the frozen aisle, and if that kitchen cooked them they should be ashamed, no care was taken.not even a fruit bowl to be seen, if you want fruit you can scrape it out of the yogurt parfaits that again are bog standard. For this price the food needs to have a little wow, and it should especially not be decidedly boring. food should be made to order for omletes etc... crepes, belgian waffles, put a splash of baileys in the nutella and call it something I don't care just do something. what kind of money laundering is this.Décor is subjective but cleanliness is not, the entire repurposed warehouse space had dust hanging over everything. the bathrooms, were cleaned but clearly were a mashup of gas station rest stop and someone with an Ikea catalogue (you couldn't swap out the nasty decaying flooring?)Waitstaff was fine but I'll leave it at that, not an A+ , especially for the price. If you are the owner fix this,if you are a customer stay away, support your local mom and pop diner, don't go near this half-baked out of touch embarrassment.

Came to this place with my wife after a Saturday afternoon shopping excursion and OMG!!! We had a waitress named Grace and she was magical, she noticed every table she was working and took care of all of us with the speed of a ninja all while making sure there was new silverware dried and wrapped! The menu is phenomenal the atmosphere is excellent and the service is A-1!!!

Although the drinks we had were good, I must say whatever you do.. DONT GET THE FISH FRY. I wouldn't feed that fish to my cat. To charge $19 for it is highway robbery.

In my opinion, this should be on everyone's list to try. Their food is exquisite and memorable.

The food is great! I kinda stick with the burgers though. I love their croissants and they said they will have them everyday soon.

Merriment Social is a beautiful venue that is one of our favorite places to eat in the city. It has such a unique charm and atmosphere, with an incredible food and drink menu. The staff is always so friendly and treats us like family whenever we visit. We love it so much, in fact, that we held our wedding reception here in November 2023, and it was such an incredible and stress-free experience working with Joe, Sam, and the team. Would recommend to host events here, but also to just grab a bite to eat!

Friendly staff, good food. The only thing that really peeved me, was the 3% surcharge on my bill. Just adjust your menu prices, I have no issues paying more, instead of using an underhand tactic like that.

The chicken and waffles might be the best I've ever had and the waguu smash burger my girlfriend had was sheer decadence!

There is a reason this restaurant was not fully booked at 6:30 pm on a Friday. This was far below being okay. This is my second time there . . . Not impressed either times. The food was below par and it actually upset my stomach pretty bad. The “homemade” cookies on the menu were old and cost quite a bit for 2 cookies. I will not be returning. Would not recommend to a friend.

One of the best spots in mke. Chicken and waffles are great and the burgers are some of the best. Plus a HUGE bourbon selection

Nice place. Great atmosphere and staff. Super friendly and helpful on what to pick on the menu. We went on Sundays brunch so a very nice selection. We had the merriment burgers and cheese curds along with water and Malibu Sunrise. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you Lia for a really great first impression of this place. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
