This was the new restaurant of the week and a bookmark so I stopped over for lunch. The place is very small and take out only because there is no dining room and only a small area with a few seats to wait for your order. I ordered the three piece dinner with dark fried chicken with dressing and red beans/rice that comes with a corn muffin. As far as dinners go for just under $18 it's noticeably small and the smallest soul food dinner I have had. The chicken was delicious and moist seasoned well with a light crispy coating and not greasy at all so pretty good. The red beans and rice were not canned because the red beans had that firm shell with an Al dente center. The red beans and rice had a Louisiana hot sauce flavor going on and good. The cornbread dressing was thick in texture and also very good. The mini corn muffin was very moist with a sweet corn flavor. Overall the food is very good but but the portion size vs the price vs the competition around town was a bummer. When I think of soul food I think of hearty filling comfort food. When I opened the box I was like look how small the fried chicken pieces are compared the the average fried chicken pieces. The corn muffin was a mini and the sides were in small shallow containers should not be your first thoughts/impression.

Poor customer service. Never again will I support this business. Ordered a three piece chicken and only received two, some of the side dishes were missing from the order yet the lady that answered the phone thought it was a good idea to yell at me. Owner claims my issue is really with door dash because they allowed me to select too many sided! That's not my issue that's a Nino's issue because that is your vender.

I try to support minority business. I used to frequent this place often enough until I ordered a chicken wing dinner. The wings were rotten, like they were just turning bad. I called to say there was an issue. I was given the run around "we can't give you a credit cause the owner is not here, etc,". They basically wouldn't refund my money. No one wants a reorder from a place that does not control their quality. Yuck. Beware of this place. For real. You'll pay for it.

I went to Nino's on March 3 2024 and ordered 2 orders of chitterlings. I spent about 60 dollars. When I got home they didn't have any seasoning and they were under cooked and tasted horrible. When I called back they said no one else complained, I told him to just taste them and see for himself. He said he would return my money with return of food. I didn't feel like driving 40 minutes there and back. So in the garbage they went. I have gotten chitterlings from them for years, and never had a problem until this happened.

I will never eat here again. I will never spend my hard earned money here anymore. The owner is completely heartless. This black owned business has lost a great customer. Now, I spend at least $60 every time I come here. This particular time I get a bowl of hard, chewy, over heated chitterings. All I have to say is the owner did me dirty.
I placed an order for pickup .I like 2 miles from this place and was super excited to try it out. I called Ninos because they didn't give the person I sent to get my food the whole sweet potato pie I ordered. Instead of apologizing for the error the server Tony Weiss or whoever answered just told me contact uber knowing damn well they simply could've given me the pie they forgot to put in the bag. The guy at the counter light skinned with glasses and an afro didn't make sure it was complete before handing it off.

I had 4pc fried chicken with greens, yams, dressing and potato salad.Chicken - Seasoned but taste burnt like grease needed to be changed.Greens - THE BEST PART ABOUT THE WHOLE MEALPotato salad - was OK, yellow and sweet if that's your thingYams - HORRIBLE - nothing sweet about them and left a sour taste.Dressing - OK, like supped up Stove top.All in all it was "quick" soul food. I personally wouldn't order again unless I really want a doubule order of greens and don't feel like cooking myself.
