we love purple door icecream! We decided to use them to cater our wedding desserts! We were able to do a tasting and figure out exactly what we wanted with icecream and cookie flavors. They are very accommodating with dietary restrictions, providing non dairy options and gluten free options for our guests! Guests were able to get multiple desserts and they provided enough icecream for the whole night!

I just want to let the owners of purple door ice cream to know how one of their workers made my day:i didnt get her name, but this young lady had a watermelon barrette in her hair. I came in for the lime/black berry flavor-not in the case. She went outta her way, found some in back-i got a few pints, she packed them (it was hard as a rock) and was overall very sweet about it. A pleasant experience, your staff is the icing on the cake to the tasty ice cream :)

Long line but the Road Gravel Ice Cream was amazing and they worked through the line fairly quickly.

Great ice cream, poor customer service due to always being understaffed on summer weekends; stood on line 30 minutes for a cone.

The employee was friendly. I sampled several flavors before going with the espresso using Anodyne Coffee Roasters. I enjoyed the creamy scoop. Their ice cream can also be found in stores I've seen around Milwaukee.

Went here for the first time and got a cone of purple moon. It was good! I don't think this is comparable to blue moon, but it is up there. The shop had free street parking, and the service was good. It was a little difficult to maneuver through the shop since it was such a tight space and they roped off how to walk through, but if you're not walking straight through then it's a tight space and complicated. Overall, I enjoyed it!

I recently visited Purple Door and ordered a lemon sorbet. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When my sorbet was served, I received a huge frozen chunk from the bottom of the container instead of a proper scoop. When I tried to politely request a fresh serving from a new container, the person at the counter interrupted me, insisting that I would have to pay for another serving if I wanted something different. This lack of customer service and the poor quality of the sorbet left me thoroughly disappointed ☹️

I would live here if I could. I like that they have games for those that want to stay a bit. You can try any that seem appealing and you can purchase ice cream sandwiches and pints from the coolers on the side.

Absolutely the best ice cream shop in Milwaukee. Lots of creative flavors. It gets very busy when it's nice out, so be prepared for a line in the summer. Close to Bublr bike station as well as the MCTS Green/15/18 lines.

Great ice cream with a fair price of what you're getting. Dining in can be very compact.

Great and friendly service. Cute location. I ended up buying a pint of purple moon! It was delicious and I can't say I've ever had a sorbet like this. It was a flavor explosion in your mouth. I got lemon, then berry, then almond cookie. It was amazing! I only wish they had it available in scooped ice cream or more DF/gf flavors in scooped ice cream because we stopped before a hockey game and ended up tossing most of the pint just because of time and it was too much for one person to eat. We'll be back though and are excited to try new flavors.
