I really liked their rigatoni alla Vodka pasta the spinach and sauce was amazing. My only concern was their portions were so little and the fact they don't have a meat addition to it and when I requested salmon it would have been an additional $19. The service was great and the food tasted amazing it's just the portions that threw me off

Really nice spot for updated takes on Italian American classics. We enjoyed every dish we tried but the pastas were the highlight with very generous portions and served piping hot directly from the kitchen. We especially appreciated not being rushed even though we were were seated very near closing time. We will be back for sure.

The gnocchi was absolutely overpowered by the asparagus and the Amatriciana was overpowered pizza by the peppers; pizza had too much toppings becasue the inside was floppy and wet. Chicken meatballs were bland and underseared, though the sauce was nice and bright. The chef needs to learn balance. Food looks great but the flavors aren't there. Drink from the bar was watered down and boring. Our server was aloof and simply wasn't paying attention to us. The male host was also lacking in warmth. He didn't say one friendly word or smile at all. The room is lively and full of character; if you don't mind noise it's ok. No music, just loud and echo-y.

Beautiful location. Our server was lovely. The food was overall good not great. What made the experience bad for us was the rudeness of the host. We had taken my elderly mother out for a nice meal, that she paid for, and she doesn't move fast. The host began clearing the table (not just plates but fully bussing) while we were at the table. Not trying to raise a huge stink, understand that the table needs to be turned over, but just wait a few more seconds and have little awareness for all diners. It would be much appreciated.

Great spot for date night! We made a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was very nice and checked in frequently. Food came out faster than expected. The chicken piccata meatballs were delicious. The portion sizes for our main dishes were very generous, so we had left overs. Both dishes were great! The espresso martini was a little creamy, which was amazing. We were too full for dessert but definitely want to try something next time!

The servers and bartenders helping us out were super helpful. Great menu and the food was amazing! Really enjoyed their pizza and pasta. Their broccoli and cauliflower starters are a must.

Recently I visited Sorella in Bayview with my mom. We ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, wood-roasted shrimp 'scampi', beet salad, and olive oil cake. The vodka pasta truly stands out, while the shrimp in the 'scampi' dish were impressively large. Although the beet salad had a bit too many beets, it still was delicious, especially with the addition of candied nuts and gorgonzola. My mom and I concluded our meal with the olive oil cake, which had a lovely balance between rustic and modern flavors. Overall, the menu has a perfect balance between creativity and tradition, making Sorella a must-visit spot in Milwaukee. Each dish offers an authentic twist on Italian classics. The service was excellent; our orders arrived quickly and hot. Additionally, the atmosphere is charming, featuring cute wallpaper and a vibey bar with an extensive selection of alcohol.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with my pasta the last time I came here. The noodles were a bit underdone, and the sauce was lacking in quantity and a bit of flavor. It was still tasty, but I've had many vodka pastas (one of my favorite dishes), and this one was underwhelming. That being said, I have been here one other time and had a really nice experience! So I'm definitely going to come back at some point and maybe try something new!

We were seated outside in the heated tent. It was cozy but very noisy. The server seemed to have forgotten about us at times (drinks, taking our order) Food was not served to us at the same time. The food was good but for the price we had higher expectations . It just didn't deliver...

Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. Excellent and friendly service. Everything about our dinner was well done, from reception through the final course.

First time at Sorella and really enjoyed the experience. Our table was ready when we walked in the door, the food was fantastic and the staff was great. We had the gnocchi and the cavetelli. Both dishes were great. Definitely will be going back to try some of the other dishes.

We were seated at the bar on time. Service was great and food came out really fast. Everything was delicious, from the antipasto to both of our entrees. Cocktails were great and both bartenders crushed it. We'll be back!

Very cute place, nice ambience although noisy even on a Sunday - can't imagine what Friday/Saturday would be like. Very limited menu - not many choices. So, the kitchen should be able to perfect each entree. Chicken parm was overcooked, dry and does not come with pasta at all. For the price, it should. Not realizing this, I ordered the arugula salad which was nothing at all but arugula and a drop of dressing. Disappointing as it has been written up as such a great place. Not a great selection of wines either and overpriced.
