It's a food truck outside of Enlightened Brewing Company, so we were able to take the food in and have a few drinks with the dlicious BBQ Platter! Everything was top notch, tender flavorful brisket and pork. Also highly recommended the corn cake, yes not corn bread corn cake. Will definitely be back!

First time here. Found it on Google looking for nearby food places and this popped up. Looked up the reviews and all had 5 star ratings so I decided to go see for myself. Wow let me just tell you I wish I would have found this sooner! I read they had burnt ends but unfortunately they only have those on special on someday. So I asked what they recommended and they said the brisket. So I ordered a half pound of that. Came with some pickled red onions, a small cup of bbq sauce, and bread. I didn't use the bread but the flavor in the brisket was mouth watering and the bbq might have been homemade but not sure. The red onions gave off a sweet taste, the brisket had cracked pepper on it with a dry rub which gave it an amazing taste. Was cooked perfect. Eating the onions, brisket, and bbq sauce all at once was incredible. Alittle pricey but for the taste it's well worth it. If you have not been here yet go give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I hosted a birthday party for my wife, at which I used Sweet Smoke BBQ for the dinner catering. I had previously eaten a few entrees at their food truck and knew the food was very good. They came highly recommended by our venue as event caterers, as well. From the first contact we had, Cindi and Adam were fantastic to deal with. Communication was excellent and details/planning were simple. We had pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken thighs, smoked cauliflower, mac & cheese, cornbread, pickles, and cucumber salad. The food was impressive. Our guests commented all night about the food. We felt that Sweet Smoke BBQ was phenomenal from both a quality and a value standpoint. Adam and Cindi set up our self-serve buffet and tended things until the initial rush was over.In summary, we could not have asked for a better catering partner for this party. We already knew the food was going to be excellent, but the service and value were the icing on the cake. I encourage anyone who is looking for a caterer to strongly consider Sweet Smoke BBQ. And if you're just looking for a good meal, check them out at their food truck. It will be very much worth your time and money.AND... since I know that I am always suspicious of overly glowing reviews, I'll take the time to mention that other than eating at their food truck a few times, I/we have no personal relationship or history with anybody related to Sweet Smoke... they really were just that good.

First of all, the best bbq in WI and not even close because it's real BBQ... Central TX BBQ. Having a connection in Hill Country TX where I go 6 to 8x per year, I've had BBQ from over 30 places in TX, including many of the Top 20. Pinkertons, Terry Black's, Black's, 2M, Daynes, Kruez, Smittys, Snows, Franklin, Bills, Coopers, Salt Lick, Goldees, Hutchins... blah blah blah... short... I've got TX cred.Sweet Smoke is as close as I've had to Central TX style outside of TX.Seasoning is very close to most places. A little less salt and perhaps not using Lawrys, which they all use. Pepper is about right and right mesh.Brisket is really close. Fatty cut is done well, and it passed the pull test, but lean was bit dry. Throw down some wagyu tallow when serving and goes a long way. But having smoked my share of briskets, this is tough and can simply be the brisket was too lean and they vary from brisket to brisket.Pulled pork perhaps a bit over cooked but not by much and nicely seasoned. TX style is let the meat shine, and it does.Turkey was really nice and very moist. Either brined and/or resting in 'juice'. Either is fine. This was a solid offering.Coleslaw was different than I've had at any TX joint with a mustard dill approach, and while not my fav, it works. It's good.Horns up!Now... the badToday, no sausage and missing jalapeño cheddar sausage stings a little. I get a Frito pie sausage or a poblano pepper, and Oaxaca cheese might be asking too much in the upper Midwest, but jalapeño cheddar is a must. Also, no Charo or borracho beans? It's a must with TX BBQ. There's a few places in TX I'd literally go just for the beans... Pinkertons is one.Lastly, the wood... Hickory. It's too light of smoke for TX BBQ where Post Oak is king. Trucking Post Oak would be cost prohibitive, but Oak or a blend with oak and hickory will get closer to that TX flavor.I'll be back for sure. Need my hit of Central TX BBQ.Well done, y'all???

Not only do they do catering, but they are absolutely wonderful at it! Cindi & Adam did such a perfect job catering our wedding -- So many people came up to us complimenting the food. You can't go wrong with anything you pick, but the chicken may be the best chicken I've ever had. Anywhere. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

It had always been hard to find good BBQ in Milwaukee until the arrival of Sweet Smoke. What a game changer. The power couple behind the Q provides some of the most tender delicious meats in the Midwest.Sweet Smoke worked with us to cater our wedding at Enlightened Brewing. They were professional, courteous, and thoughtful. They provided an all-star menu of pulled pork, brisket, pork belly bao buns (yes, that's a thing they do) and some of the most mouth watering burnt ends I have ever had. I addition, their sides (cucumber salad, bean salad, scrumptious corn bread to name a few), paired well with the main attraction.Next time you have a hankering for some Q, I highly suggest stopping by Sweet Smoke.

I tried their brisket fold over at the Milwaukee Night Market. It was by far the softest brisket I have ever had. (Sorry dad)

Tried at Ray's liquor store locale tonite. Had the brisket smash burger with cheese and pickle plus bbq sauce. Meat very tender and juicy. Staff very nice, too.

Mac and cheese was so good and had a little kick, which I loved. We also got the Korean BBQ burnt ends and it was one of the best things we have tasted.!
