They have about 30 to 40 different kinds of fish and shrimp! Check out their menu on their website. I had a Arapaima fish fry which was great. The atmosphere was electric and they had a lot of great music playing. They space was pretty roomy since they have 2 different bar areas.

Tasty Fish Fry, lightly battered and less oily as advertised. They do carry a vast variety which usually we don't see in WI. Visited on a Friday evening and it was bursting with people. Had to wait for an hour to be seated. There were a few open spots in the bar. Staff was friendly. Next time, plan to visit around 8pm to get a table easily and to avoid the crowd.

We had a double order of alligator bites and fries. Fries were good and seasoned well. Alligator seasoned decent but a little too tough for me. (I have had alligator before and it varies)Decent service. Connected to another bar with pool and ok drinks.

Kam's is the bar and Thistle is the other bar/restaurant - both worth a try - good drink prices in the heart of Milwaukee - good 'Cheers' places to pay a visit and meet a forever friend since everyone, staff and patrons are friendly. Kam's the bar has ping-pong, rarely seen in bars AND two pool tables and some of those poker machines - happy hour $5 rail and $6 otherwise - good prices for budget minded - Thistle has some great food and Friday fish fry has been written up with 13-16 types of fish (I forgot) and other meal deals. Tuesday taco and trivia and Thurs 7pm trivia - and 6pm Thurs trivia at Kam's for $5 per team and winner wins the pot. Just something always going on - met some wonderful people and had some memorable times and live music sometimes so check them out.

Unless you're there during conventional lunch or dinner times, don't bother going for the food. Outside of narrow time frames, it's just a bar and the dining room is closed.
