I stopped by Weat Allis for lunch while exploring the Milwaukee public market! They had a super wide array of sandwiches and cheese to choose from (and me being indecisive decided to just build my own). I added all the standard toppings - lettuce / tomato / turkey / pepper jack / mustard / jalepenos and it was delicious!! It was a perfectly grilled panini for a cold winter day and I loved the homemade chips. The line was pretty long for a Saturday but the food came out really quickly nevertheless. I would recommend this place if you stop by the market:)

I went to Milwaukee for the first time over the weekend. Really liked the market as a whole, but I wanted to get a Bloody Mary. This was just the spot. There was a line, which was my first indication that this place was dank. When I got to the cash register, I was greeted by a nice gentleman that took my order. I got the Milwaukean, which did not disappoint. This was the most loaded Bloody Mary Ive ever had. So good. I also got the brat, and the man that took my order customized it his way. That Jawny slapped. This place is getting another visit from me when I come back. Cheers!

I've lived in Milwaukee for many years and never really stopped to the public market, it was such a pleasant experience and my partner that's not from town loved it, we had two bloody Mary's absolutely delicious around 10-12$ each, and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. 10/10 This is a must go to if you're in town

The best word that came to my mind to describe the food here? Yum-o-La!! I had never been there before but was hungry for a BLT. So, naturally, I looked up on our fave, Yelp here, as to who had the best. Good call! It's a quaint, family run business and the folks that work there were all just so nice and very helpful. There is an adjoining room that houses the cheese, wine and beverage mix, etc sales. Nifty stuff, too, like Old Fashioned pre-mix. U can't get more Milwaukee than that! I m def going back for a few Christmas gifts. But that food was just amazing. It's in the quality of the ingredients they choose that brings it up over the top! Def worth a stop, look regardless. Keep it Local folks!!

Stopped the public market and decided to try one of their Bloody Mary's. I ended up going with the Milwaukean and it was great! Very flavorful and had a full meal on top of the Bloody (sausage, cheese curds, bacon and pickle). Would definitely come back to try their other stuff!

As you walk up, you know that you're in for an incredible Wisconsin treat. West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shop is located inside of the Milwaukee Public Market. Which, gives it that festive feel! It feels as if you've stepped into Europe with a Wisconsin twist! I absolutely love coming here! We always order the fried cheese curds with marinara sauce. Which, are a one of a kind Wisconsin treat that you'll never forget! They also sell a huge variety of cheese and cured meats. Along, with spices and local goods! Every time I come here I leave with something new to spice up my life. If you ever need help with anything. Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable! If you're looking for a fun and exciting new market place to go. Then, you have to stop by. Trust me, you won't regret it! Fried Cheese Curds- These cheese curds are crispy and crunchy on the outside and squeaky and chewy on the inside! They are a perfectly well balanced one of a kind Wisconsin treat. That you'll enjoy to the last bite!

Got a BLT with cheddar which is very good. It's a cute little food stand in the Public Market. It is a bit expensive though for the size of the sandwich.

So many cheese and sausage options! Great place to stock up on items for a charcuterie board. We got so many good cheeses and some cheese orphans to try. We were also able to sample some of the cheeses that were open at the deli before we purchased them!

Was looking forward to trying the Hangover Burrito but was sadly disappointed. First bite the potatoes and bacon were very clearly old taste and texture like they were rewarmed a few times. The eggs were VERY overcooked coupled with it was so over salted we couldn't get past one bite had call it a loss since we didn't eat onsite. Upside, its size and can easily be breakfast for 2. The staff were nice. The bourbon jerky was quite good. Would go back for jerky and some of their packaged cheeses.

What a great experience! We had lunch here and could not have enjoyed it more. Our server Rachel helped us select different sausages and cheeses. She nailed it! If you want to sample different local sausages, this is the place, as they have probably 15 different by offerings, all made at the establishment. Can't wait to come back!

Best Bloody Mary mix in the city! You can drink your lunch with all that comes on these drinks! Very friendly service at the market.

Stopped for some shopping & lunch today but stopped for an impromptu Bloody Mary at West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe while at the Public Market. I ordered the Abso -Bloody-Lutely. It came with a grilled cheese slider, strip of bacon, sausage stick, celery, and olive. (Was advertised to come with mozzarella whips too but they were not with it) It was busy but the service was friendly and prompt. It was busy at the counter so I took it upstairs to the 2nd floor. The bloody itself was thick just as it should be, this is not a watered down bloody. A hint of spice but not overwhelming. The grilled cheese slider was a good garnish, I hadn't had that before and the thought of something new drew me to this one.

One of my favorite places in Milwaukee to get a Bloody Mary - and I am a self proclaimed Bloody Mary connoisseur!! There are a few options for bloody Mary's, one more extravagant than the other. I typically opt for the abso-bloody-lutely! This Bloody Mary is perfectly paired with a slice of grilled cheese at the top. I have also gotten the roast beef sandwich and made my own sandwich- both delicious! This is the best one stop shop everyone is sure to enjoy!!

Their bloody marys were some of the best I've had! The mix was pretty average, but the toppings were epic. The Milwaukean came with a pickle spear, meat stick, olive, celery, bacon, mozzarella cheese whips, a brat slider, and deep fried cheese curds. The abso-bloody-lutely came with a pickle spear, meat stick, olive, celery, bacon, mozzarella cheese whips, and a grilled cheese slider. Both were good! Definitely plan some extra time if you visit during peak times on the weekend!
