Great food at very affordable prices in little Mineral Point. Innovative wood fired pizzas and super fresh not your "run of the mill" salads. Other entrees also available that I've had previously were also very good. Friendly service and wide cocktail selections.

What a great find. We were staying right across the street and it was a really cold evening. Didn’t want to venture too far and heard great things about the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We had a great garden salad and a wood fired pizza. Both excellent choices. The waitress was very attentive and did the great job. The owners\chefs were very present and made an effort to visit every table.Great place.

Good pizza. Nice, little restaurant and dining area. In house service seems good, but 9 times out of 10 they don't answer the phone. That's no exaggeration. That's not the way to run a business.

I had the elk special and it was perfectly prepared. The owner stopped by and hopefully they will continue to bring this in periodically. I was lucky and managed to get the last serving. Also had flatbread and dip - such a large serving i ended up with lots of leftovers even sharing

This is a very cozy place in a neat old building. The waitress was great, and the food was rather impressive. If you want bar food, this isn't the place. We will be back.

If you plan on starting a new employee on a Saturday night, especially behind the bar. I would try to give them some help. Pretty bad experience and he didn’t know how to make an old fashioned. Pretty important for WI.

I have never been to mineral point but this restaurant is definitely a reason to go back. Me and my girlfriend went here to eat after visiting the house on the rock and we were both extremely pleasantly surprised. The aesthetic and the quality of the interior was one thing, the waitress was also very personable and kind and timely, and the food was absolutely amazing, it was very reasonably priced and the pizza was much higher quality than I've ever had before, all together it costed about 32 dollars for a pizza and two alcoholic drinks but the experience felt very high end. I would definitely recommend for a nice date night or family gathering!

Group of 7 visited Popolo Pizza on Friday night. Restaurant was busy, service OK and pizza was decent, not exceptional. When we received our dinner check we noticed a 20% service fee added to the bill. We inquired if the gratuity was included in the service fee and advised it was NOT! Gratuity was additional. When manager was asked what the service fee was for, he replied it's for extra service required by groups of 6 or more. One member of our party was a restaurant operator of 25+ years. He shared with the manager that service fees for larger parties (6 or more) were intended to protect servers were not shorted a reasonable gratuity by members of a larger party and that gratuities beyond the service fee are not expected. When manager was asked if the service fee went to the house or the server, he advised it went to the server, but was NOT a gratuity, insisting gratuities are at the discretion of the customer. The manager offered to re-do the credit cards which had already been charged but most in our group had lost any confidence in the manager/restaurant and just let it go. Not one person in our group will return to this restaurant.

Great drinks and pizza. Wonderful service! Limited menu, but expected since it sources its ingredients locally. Wish the patio space was cleaned up and useable. It is a hidden gem and would be fantastic for garden parties!

It’s difficult to find a really great pizza in small town Wisconsin, but this is the place to find it. We used to go to their pizza place, which was called Times Square pizza back in Milwaukee several years ago. So it was a great surprise and delight to find that they had relocated here in the beautiful town of Mineral Point. Co-owner Wendy is such a delight, and we hope that they continue in this town with much deserved success.
