Someone ate there late at night and said things were bad. I ate there mid-day and the food was good but the service was questionable. Our server said she was the only regular employee working. Tough for restaurants all over and this place changes managers frequently.

My husband and I ate here tonight, it gets better each time. Tonight, I had chicken alfredo it was so creamy and flavorful. I also had the BEST soup of my life, no joke! I loved it so much I ordered 2 bowls to go. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Service was okay. Our problem was the having to eat in the bar due to a late dinning room event, the food quality and the ambiance. It was cold in the bar area, food was greasy, cold and not flavorful. The prices were exorbitant for bad bar food. The waitress tried her best to serve us but it was clear she was overwhelmed by the need to see us at the tables (three steps below the rest of the bar) and her need to eat her supper. We chose not to return, training and implementation of quality assurance system would go along way.

Behind Poison Eyes

Waited for anyone of the five servers who walked by us to acknowledge our existence. Left. Pathetic.

We were at Par 5 Bistro over the weekend....the service was horrible on Saturday April 15, 2023. People were getting frustrated as the bartender (Dorie) would not wait on customers that were there first...she would wait on people she knew and ignore other customers. There were some customers that just walked out because they could not get served. They actually then called in the Golf Pro to help out...he was very helpful and apologized for the service that was being provided. There was a wedding that day along with the Owner's Meeting for the Fox Hills Condo ownership....this bar should have been staffed better than it was...also the bar did not open up until 3:00 pm...people that were attending the owner's meeting were upset they could not get any drinks as the meeting started at 1:00 pm. The bartender would take orders from people in a group and then disregared the remainder of the group. She should not be interacting with customers as her attitude SUCKED. Hopefully this issue gets corrected before the busy summer golf/vacation season, if it does not I guarantee this business will be suffering...which is bad as we like to come to Fox Hills but if this continues we will not be back.

Super friendly people. Food was surprisingly good. Usually a pretty quiet place to catch a meal and relax. Even have a golf simulator for play if you're into it.

Very friendly service and staff. Charging rates are above average. Limited menu options.

My wife and I went here with high hopes, but even low hopes would have been shattered with our experience. It took us over an hour to get our food, it came out over cooked. We ordered maple salmon and prime rib (medium rare). The salmon was dry with a consistency similar to sawdust with an overwhelming fishy taste to it (no maple taste whatsoever lol). The prime rib came out well done instead of medium rare with no crust whatsoever. The taste of said prime rib was not quite right. I have no words to describe it other than funky. It was grey/brown and tough. They somehow took one of the best cuts of meat, in my opinion, and made it one of the worst meals I’ve had.The fries were undercooked. The soup had little flavor. The salad was warm. The Coca-Cola was pretty much water. This is the only time I’ve ever returned food. The salmon made my wife, who loves seafood, throw up almost immediately. When I told the bartender about the food, she sent the manager to us immediately. I told her about what was going on and she was giving me a hard time about the food, saying that she just had the salmon and it was “fine.” Even if it was fine, which it WAS NOT, I am not paying $22 for a piece of salmon the size of a bar of soap that’s “fine.”After the argument, the manager said she was going to take our food back and get our original waitress. It took over a half hour for us to get the bill for our drinks. We left without receiving an apology of any kind. My only wish is that I could bill them for the hour and a half of our time that they wasted. Again, this is the ONLY meal I’ve ever sent back in my life. I will happily tell anyone I know about our experience and our desire to avoid this place from here on out.The fact that they made us pay for our 2 drinks after the experience we had is appalling to me. They were made horribly. To all reading this review, have fun if you go there. Maybe your experience will be better, however, I recommend going down the road the the next place.

Horrible food ... wonderful waitress.*Last year, the Valentine's special was actually special. Romantic atmosphere, awesome food but the abundance of waitstaff could not figure out what was going on & wait times were long.***This year, not romantic & only one waitress who had to seat people, bartend, deliver food, apologize for subpar food, bus tables, and take payment. SHE WAS A ROCKSTAR. Salmon was scalding hot (obviously microwaved) & very fishy, mashed potatoes were room temp, microwaved frozen veggies from a bag with no attempt at seasoning, regular pre frozen baked texas toast. Everything could have been bought from the freezer section at the Piggly wiggly & microwaved.Paid $66 for a few bites...at least the beer was cold.

Terrible food. Long waits. The Valentine’s Day special was far from special unless you count how poor the food was as a “special” quality. The door was even barred when we arrived, despite it being over an hour since they’ve opened. The potatoes were clearly microwaved, all of the food lacked seasoning. The garlic bread was very obviously texas toast from the local grocery store with nothing done to it besides being cooked unevenly. The maple salmon was extremely dry and fishy.Fortunately we were able to get our food returned without having to pay after some defensive comments from the manager. Another positive was that a nearby restaurant, “champs,” had very good food and took about a 3rd of the time from entrance to exit.

We sat at the bar for a bit on a unbusy Friday night; only 6 people at the bar. We finally asked one of the three women behind the bar if she was a bartender. She responded with yes and then took our drink order. Music playing at a very low level. Looks like it could be a nice bar/restaurant , very big. As I'm writing this, 2 bartenders disappeared. So did the customers.

Need more organization. Need to have more food options open especially for a resort of that size.
