Great food for local little bar!!

Went for a fish fry. Smothered tots to start and a shrimp basket. Congealed cold cheese sauce on the warm tots. Sent it back. Literally microwaved the dish and spread the cheese around. Still not hot. Luke warm at the best. So fish was cold and soggy and over easy egg looked hard boiled.

Typical corner bar. Needs some improvements, but it's a nice big place with lots of seating and an outdoor patio. Pool table and darts and games as well. The pizza was very good. The bartender was a bit of a dud and couldn't be bothered to stand up sometimes, but service was fine.

This place is a dive. It looks like they are doing a piece meal construction job and there was junk laying around the backside of the place. In talking to another couple this construction has been going on for over a year. Food was so so, and the help indifferent. Will not ever go back and would not suggest that anyone try it.

Stopped by on the snowmobile for some wings. They were fantastic and the owner was great to talk to. I'll definitely be back!

Great fish fry, but also great pizza and burgers. Also one of the only places where you can get a mixed drink that doesn’t taste just like soda.Friendly staff and small town atmosphere.Looking to support a small business, this is the place.

Stopped in tonight to get a container of clam chowder. I thought I’d give this place another try. I don’t mind paying for quality food. A bowl of clam chowder was eight dollars. Got it home and it was the worst. It didn’t even taste like clam chowder. It tasted like flour. Had to toss it. I really wanted to give this restaurant another try.

Cool place that could have a very nice patio area that you can tell they are working on. The place has had a lot of work done to it half way recently. My biggest complain is the last two times I was there, it had a odd smell/funk to it inside. Kinda a mix of old cabin and bathroom..... Either way, nice people here, good drinks, and good prices. Still will be back and suggest you stop in as well.Parking: Huge parking lot.

Was good and looking forward to a successful new business, but things heading in wrong direction. Order fish fry at bar and said wait until I tell you to start it. Acknowledge, not busy at.all, said start dinner. Take out arrived approx 5 minutes later, 1.5m drive home. Fish warm at best sides cold, obviously was prepared as instructed. Also small quantity compared to rustic

Price, wow…expensive. Each item costed several dollars more than the online menu. Food was only ok, but price was premium.

Hadn't been there in years, but decided to give it a try because the Village was congested with a parade & Summerfeste. There were zero cars in the parking lot, but bartender said the kitchen was open. We ordered for dine-in. I'll not write a negative review here - I want to give them another chance, but decided this Sunday afternoon wouldn't be the day. Again, zero cars in the parking lot. Suffice that Sunday afternoon probably isn't the best time to go to Woody's.

So, my husband and I stopped for a few beers and to get something to eat. There was only one couple at a table, who left within 5 minutes of our arrival and two guys sitting at the bar playing dice. Otherwise, the bar was empty for a Saturday afternoon. Soon we realized why. We initially sat at a table about 10 feet from the bar and the bartender/owner immediately told us there was no table service. Okay, we get it, they’re lazy and don’t want to serve the only two people willing to buy food.., so to make things easier for them, we just opted to move to the bar. Fast forward, once we were finally offered menus and perused them, we were ready to order. We were going to order a large portion of broasted chicken (although their menu calls it brosted chicken). We wanted food for today and the next few days. Before we could even order the food, the cook/bartender/owner told us that it takes 30 mins and we need to call that order in ahead of time., if we had wanted it. Basically, we needed to choose something else, even though that was not written on the menu. Remember, there was nobody else eating/ordering food. Instead of simply telling us that our order would take 30 mins, we were told we couldn’t order that meal. That was strike two’ We would have sat there for the thirty minutes and waited for the meal. In the mean time we would have racked up a bar bill. But instead we got the message, we weren’t welcome! The bar staff would rather gossip and play dice with friends and have young children hanging out behind the bar, then serve customers. (I won’t even go into my opinion about minor in a bar, let alone behind the bar) We will not be returning. I would never recommend this place. On a side note, we tried it a few other times and got the same reception. We’re done! We like to support local businesses, but will never support this place again’
